Kiesza is the first one I really like that's been eliminated even though I truly only like 1 song of hers

lol at the vote for Sabrina, someone obsessed with her breasts when they were like 11 years old? hahaha

But where´s the Fox?

Never heard of Joan Baez I'm afraid.

Jennifer Ellison finishing ahead of Louise though  only on Buzzjack would something that random happen!

One could argue Buzzjack is the only place where either of these people would appear on a list like this...

I don't think she has a big fanbase on here or seen much vocal love for her other than myself haha.

A shame I'm the only voter but she always brings the bops and fully believe she's currently the most talented female rapper currently on the scene and having seen her live is SUCH a great performer.

I wonder if the poll's title of "Favourite Female Solo Singer" might have put people off? There were a couple of rappers that I almost voted for, but wasn't sure if they'd be allowed or not.

Good shout- yes really should have been "female act"- Yes rapper's are naturally allowed! :D

Bumper elimination today- 10 acts leaving including the first act to collect points from 3 voters! And also (I'll confess now) one that slipped through my monitoring and is actually a group- I'll apologise now!

Still none of my votes falling out yet but I suspect my 12 pointer might be in danger in the coming days.

'Escapism.' is one of my favourite #1 singles in recent times  and 'Song 4 Mutya' was a great solo feature outside Mutya Buena's work in Sugababes.

Yet oddly enough no credit for her on SFM which surprised me :(

Blimey at Sabrina (it is quite the eyeful I admit). Jennifer Ellison's I bought on CD at the time :kink: (I did like it a lot though).

Some other unusual choices here though but 'Absolutely Everybody' is that 00's one hit wonder pop classsic

I don't mind Suzi Quatro too. 'Devil Gate Drive' is fab. Kiesza and Mutya had great singles and Alesha as well, TBDN I just heard on R1 funnily enough!

That Vanessa photo id absolutely dire  No charisma, just standing there with an arm wrapped around her noggin.

I listened to the top 100 UK hits of 1978 a lot recently and can certify that Suzi Quatro's 'If you Can't Give me Love', her last major hit, is an absolute bop! :music:

Sabrina, she was absolutely great and still is, the video for Boys (Summertime Love) was great as well.

Poor brave Vanessa, obviously a one-hit wonder but I was voting based off her whole career, including Shine, Perfect, This Is Who I Am, and tons of other great tracks. She even has a duet with Olivia Newton-John (recorded in 2002) in this very week's New Music Friday (Australia).

And considering the original Vanessa version was from 2002 - and a No.99 smash in Germany - it predates The Climb by Miley Cyrus by a good seven years. Similar chorus...

Wait, which one of those is actually a group?

Pretty sure Skylar Grey was on my list last time around, but not this time, glad she made someone else's list though!

Patti Smith. The actual credit is" Patti Smith group"

Honestly thought a few of the other .Sugababes fans would’ve voted for Mutya. Oh well, I guess her solo career isn’t that well remembered,

Poor Vanessa Amorosi indeed. Did she realise anything in the UK after Absolutely Everybody? Two or three you left off that list I like are Turn To Me, Spin and Amazong. Her The Hooberstank duet The Reason is pretty good too.
