No clue as yet on whether any of the eliminated queens will get a chance to come back. or if this is a protracted way to eliminate someone Ru has no interest in but who's been doing too well in the other challenges

Mother Sasha Colby… THAT is how you lipsync!!!! Anetra really held her own though, that was dynamite on stage.

 

Mistress ATE too, Jax has done all her tricks so they don’t really pop at this point, and I much prefer a lipsync like Mistress where she just channels the song, you don’t need the same old trick and acrobatics! I don’t think Jax was the worst one there and Spice should have gone without the twist but I do think Jax was kind of spent so I’m not mad she left tbh.

Sorry I don't think Mistress won at all - not even because of her feeling the song, she just did some booby pops and I wasn't excited watching her whatsoever compared to Jax.

 

Malaysia Vs Spice was awful and one of them should've gone really. The twist felt really unfair and a way to keep Spice, I'm not even a huge fan of Jax but it wasn't fair she went and felt similar to the treatment Jasmine Kennedie got last series. So boring.

The producers had HELL editing this episode, I can just tell. All tension was completely cut in a bid to keep this at 42 minutes or so and everything was going at super speed - I really feel sorry for them having to find bits to cut from an episode with 8 lip syncs :lol:

 

My winner of this episode though was SALINAAAA, that was my favourite lip sync of the night and she finally got her flowers after weeks of doing well and still ending up safe.

Totally agree, Salina murdered Luxx on that stage and Luxx is delusional for thinking otherwise.

 

Tbh finding it hard to parse if she's joking about or really thinks she is a cut above the others. If it's the latter I'm not seeing it. Any of last year's top 5 would mop the floor with her.

Yeah agreed Luxx's arrogance is really rubbing me the wrong way, and unlike Mistress or Sasha, doesn't feel deserved.

 

Other than Salina, I really think Marcia pulled it out of the bag as well!!

This 100%!!!!!!! There was so much potential drama that might've gone unaired this episode.

 

It was a really good episode and I felt really sorry for Anetra. Even though Sasha did win the lip sync she held her own and gave such a great performance. She should've been kept safe for that tbh.

 

Marcia x3 was the biggest surprise. She really ate her lip sync.

 

I thought Mistress vs Jax was fairly close, but I'd give the edge to mistress. One thing I don't think Jax does well is give proper facial expressions for the lip sync lyrics. A lot of the time she's so busy with her tricks/dance moves that it seems her facial expression is somewhat of an afterthought.

 

Spice vs Mistress was such a mess - Ru should've eliminated one of them right then and there. :lol:

 

Salina did really well in her lip sync and her comedy parts were so good. Luxx being downright delusional thinking she won that :lol:

 

Loosey is rubbing me the wrong way a bit. From her delusion last week carrying into this week and then her picking Spice and barely winning that lip sync in my eyes :lol: To have the audacity to then say she picked Spice because she thought she would pick a song Loosey wanted.... :lol:

 

I can't wait to go back to 90 minute episodes. I miss all the mini challenge stuff etc. In the preview for next week's episode you can see Ru announcing a ball challenge with the queens all in quick drag. I bet they don't show the mini challenge though. :'(

 

Also just to add I thought Jax gave better lip syncs than half the queens and didn't really deserve to go home base on that. But with lip syncs being only again 1 or 2 people it was just unlucky she got who she got in the lip syncs. :(

LIPSYNC #01: Malaysia vs Marcia

LIPSYNC #02: Loosey vs Spice

LIPSYNC #03: Luxx vs Salina

LIPSYNC #04: Mistress vs Jax

LIPSYNC #05: Anetra vs Sasha

 

I truthfully would've double shantay'd Anetra and Sasha, they both KILLED IT and it would've taken them to an even number, which would've made more sense to me than the random save.

 

LIPSYNC #06: Malaysia vs Spice

LIPSYNC #07: Anetra vs Luxx vs Jax

 

Again, Anetra won for me, I think she was REALLY hard done by in this episode, I couldn't take my eyes off her. I kinda even thought Jax did better than Luxx, so this was the first decision I really didn't see.

 

LIPSYNC #08: Anetra vs Jax

 

What this episode tells me, based off the decisions made is...

 

1) They don't have big plans for Anetra, so even if she does make the final, she is their 4th best option at best unfortunately, but I'm now thinking she won't make it.

2) Mistress, Luxx and Sasha are definite finalists. They threw Luxx a big bone, so they clearly don't want to risk her and want her there til the end and Mistress was edited funnier than I actually thought she was. And if they didn't care about Sasha, then they could've given Anetra the win as they weren't far apart.

3) They're desperately clinging onto Spice for something - I don't know what but there must be something coming because she's had about 3 bad weeks in a row and survived the end game by the skin of her teeth.

This was a good episode with what looks like will be a series regular The Lipsync Smackdown, considering that we haven't seen a lot of these queens lipsync yet and here are my thoughts on each one.

Malaysia Babydoll Foxx vs Marcia, Marcia, Marcia - Wow some of these queens trying to be tactical with their choices and falling flat on their face. Malaysia thought she had this in the bag and quite frankly couldn't keep up with Marcia X3. Malaysia did do a good job but the outcome was already obvious at the midway point. Marcia got the advantage by picking the song and really served what the song needed.

Loosey LaDuca vs Spice - Despite Spice getting to choose the song and was dressed for it, Loosey totally killed it while Spice came off looking campy instead of 80's rocker. Overall this lipsync was fine, but a bit forgettable, but NOT the worst of the night by any means.

Salina Estitties vs Luxx Noir London - This felt like the surprise sleeper hit no one saw coming. Salina choosing the song gave her the advantage and totally SLAYED it , hitting every emotional beat and comedy drops, she was unstoppable. Luxx was also decent and served great emotion, but she didn't gel with the music quite as well.

Mistress Isabelle Brooks vs Jax - Now this was interesting as it's the one that caused the most debate. Mistress did a great job focusing on the song's lyrics and energy and giving a fun mix of comedy and flair. Jax was landing powerful stunts and matching the beat in every way. But honestly I can see why Mistress won, because the stunts Jax were great but she's done them in the last 2 lipsyncs she was in and sometimes whether you like it or not a different element will pull a Queen ahead.

Anetra vs Sasha Colby - The strongest so far and certainly the closest race yet. Both were serving stunts, hair flips and sexy moves. This was the perfect type of song for these 2 queens. but Sasha was the one who really pulls you in with a more commanding stage presence which pulled her ahead of Anetra.

Malaysia Babydoll Foxx vs Spice - This was the WORST one of the night, neither knew the words and neither captured the energy of the song. Spice didn't help matters by turing away a lot which is why she probably lost.

Luxx Noir London vs Anetra vs Jax - This was another strong lipsync and all three served the song well, but Luxx was the one who suited the song best out of the 3.

Anetra vs Jax - Firstly I do commend Anetra for not taking the easy route and picking Spice and getting an easy win and instead chose someone who would give her a challenge. Anetra totally had this in the bag with her stunts, duck walks and comedy which created a powerful performance. Jax again did stunts, but at least she toned it down this time and tried to capture the essence of the song, but her fate was sealed unfortunately and given her track record I don't think she would have lasted much longer in the competition anyway.


Next week is the ball which could be interesting, I would LOVE for Sasha to get another win and the ones that may be in trouble will be Spice, Marica & Salina. I think it may be Spice's time to go next week.

wasn’t mad at luxx winning the 3 way lipsync tbh. she gave face and sex better than the other two! though anetra pasocally won for the first beat alone lol
