Looks like zero radio support (apart from Hits and BBC Radio) and poor play listing.

I guess this was expected but a shame as it is a great song, I think Jesy doesn't have expectations for this song based on her knowing she has done waaaay less promo than she would. I expect streams to be very low, but as to be expected without support, coming off the back of the last single drama and being independent.

I mean we've only had The One Show Interview, her IG live and the interview with The Sun.

Definitely a palette cleanser, especially with her going to New York in a few days. Her attitude seems very chilled and like she's just happy to be here. She seems overwhelmed with the positivity about the song, it seems like she had a much nicer release day this time. She was also out for dinner with her friends and family last night :)

Seeing lots of positive reviews online and the youtube reactors are praising her, which is lovely to see.

Atleast with the next single there will be no expectations.

I would love for this song to chart, it deserves it.

Tayla and Jesy will be together next week.

Didn't make spotify 200 or apple 100. I wonder if it's going to chart at all. Probably too early to tell.

I don't think it'll chart :(

Youtube music video views are around 140k, which is low but if this was any other independent artist those are amazing views within less than a day.

She's got a long way to go but this song and video was in the right direction, I think she knows this too. I think she's going to keep dropping songs/videos until one clicks.

Which is a dumb idea. She's better off putting up pre-orders for the album if she's serious about releasing it, otherwise she might end up faffing about.

I have no idea what the plan is, all I think is this song was definitely a palette cleanser and people can see this as the last song she released instead of the other one.

We'll just have to see what happens!

Very surprised she's recording another video soon as she's already got one in the bank to release...

So much love for the song on twitter of all places, whether it charts or not, it’s a song that the majority of people enjoy and her fans love and she’s releasing music she’s passionate about 👏❤️

The song was just updated the partial day in NZ and Australia, but I don't tthink it'll chart either. At least the song is doing good at YouTube UK Music Videos

Yeah, this isn't really for me, it kind of doesn't go anywhere but I'm kind of happy for her to just see her chilled and hopefully regaining some kind of inner peace. The whole few weeks around Boys felt stressful to follow, let alone be a part of.

I don't see her ever getting proper success again, but I think it's more healthy for her if she's just enjoying the music she's putting out rather than chasing a hit because it'd take a huge overhaul to get the public back on side at this point. So, I'm glad to see she's kind of... not trying too hard to course correct, just enjoying putting out music and letting that do the talking, with or without commercial success.

Love that this is flopping.

Bye girl.

Still more successful than you! Bye girl x

No one really expects this to be successful - if it is it'll be against all odds.

Not sure I agree with all the ‘Jesy doesn’t expect this to be a hit’ - surely regardless of all the backlash and bad press an artist from one of biggest girl groups of all time and a debut Top 5 single would have the expectation to break the Top 75?

Streaming and video figures are poor for an artist as well known as Jesy (Independent release or not), the fact that she fell on iTunes after The One Show interview and clip shows the general level of interest I guess.

Good to see her chilled and happy but I don’t believe for 1 minute she’ll be happy with her comeback song missing the Top 100.

If she’s struggling with fans spending 99p on a download or streaming en masse now then the rest of the project will be an uphill battle.

She actually went up on iTunes after the one show and her views on the video increased a lot but fair enough, I respect your opinion and don’t disagree with her at least wanting to chart top 75.

I kind of compare this to Fleur East - who parted with a big record label and went independent. She had backing from appearances on programmes like I'm a Celeb and Strictly, and she seems to be able to get herself on a good few talk shows, but her first independent song scraped the Top 100 and she hasn't been near it since. Still seems happy doing what she's doing.

Or RAYE, who had huge backing from Radio 1, but Hard Out Here and Black Mascara didn't get to the Top 100. It was only when Escapism went viral that she managed to get a huge hit.

Jesy is doing what she is doing... the song isn't really for me... but I think it's good she's still able to get out there and make music.

99,423 streams, not the best obviously but decent for basically zero support from radio and playlisting and only one TV interview as promo.
Just listened to it, not really my thing tbh it's a bit nothingy feel like it needs to really explode at the end but it kind of just fizzles out. It's not bad though it's ok. I definitely get the Lana vibes my husband said it reminded him of Amy Winehouse (not sure why tbh lol).
