UK Chart Run: 2-1-3-4-9-13-18-20-27-26-33-46-48 (13 weeks)

Crashing out first it's the novelty song Chocolate Salty Balls. The track was created as part of an episode for the second series of animated comedy show South Park whereby the character Chef, voiced by Isaac Hayes, sings about his favourite confectionary. Such was the popularity of the show at the time that the demand for the single meant it was in the running for the 1998 Christmas #1 where it ultimately fell just short to the Spice Girl's Goodbye. Nonetheless it had its time at the top by climbing to #1 the next week and then enjoyed a relatively respectable run for such a release.

O The Humanity! (of Isaac Hayes getting to number one with this and not the timeless Shaft)

which to go for now, though.....

LeAnn on the grounds that she's even duller than Savage Garden, even more annoying than B*Witched, and you can't dance to a bit like at least you can to Ghetto Superstar...

Actually already a tough(ish) choice... but

How Do I Live.

Celine for me again but tbh as long as it isn't Run DMC or Cher at risk then I'm not too fussed
Boyzone the biggest offenders for me, even dullest than all the other dull ballads in competition
I went for It’s Like That, but I actually love all of these. So it’s just a case of which was lowest in my 1998 end of year chart.
I at least quite like everything here! I’ve gone with LeAnn Rimes.
