Crikey, just went into the pop forum and looked here seeing it's #1. That is certainly unexpected. I liked 'Miserable Man' but this sounds better than it tbh. Intense video helps.

Kushner down a couple places on Amazon. Not sure about Kushner, his vocals are a bit too much, too teatrical and a bit offputting. Not sure if I could handle a full album or a full gig.

Daylight seems to behave like a typical viral release: big debut and then down from there. But it can also take off if general public like the song.

I actually listened to 'Heat Waves' for the first time in ages yesterday, weirdly enough! I've not seen anything using it on TikTok though.

Perhaps, but it's also begun doing well on Apple Music at the same time - and we've not seen any evidence of autoplay having an impact there.

It's had a huge climb on the US and global charts as well. I guess that getting another reset for ??? reason would be fitting with the mess the chart is in right now.

Pretty good 2nd day hold for David Kushner, hopefully a Hot Hits add at the next earliest opportunity to keep it at the top end!
