April 2, 20232 yr The reset was probably because of the sped up version, not the BRITs nomination. Still tenuous but marginally more reasonable. Really hope it'll be out of the top 10 again by the end of the week obvz. Surprised Ed is #1 today even with the usual First Look sales subset, but 'Miracle' looking safe to overtake by the end of the week anyway.
April 2, 20232 yr What an odd first look chart, all the way from #20 to #1?!?! Ed must've saved some CDs to dispatch this week after they felt it was secured last week?!?!
April 2, 20232 yr I'd say that is pretty much confirmed for Miracle to be #1 then - think it'll be a long runner too with the weather starting to get better too. Miracle on lock for #1 then when more streaming data is factored in. It would be nice to see it get 3 or 4 weeks as my other favourite #1 of the year (Raye) only got one week but it would be ideal if another huge banger could come along and replace it before too long. My irritation with things staying at the top for weeks and weeks and weeks on end extends to my faves as well you know. :lol:
April 3, 20232 yr yes think Ezra got reset cos it went viral on tiktok some weird version of it guess Ed is #1 cos of some more signed CDs... if someone still thinks everytime Ed has a release he signs 30000 CDs himself by hand (and he did even for Joker, Peru, Graffiti, Celestial etc etc), you are really the most naive person in the world. It's totally impossible to even do 1,000. For work sometimes I have to label plastic bags, I do 100 and I'm already exhausted and cannot anymore :D

It's totally impossible to even do 1,000. For work sometimes I have to label plastic bags, I do 100 and I'm already exhausted and cannot anymore :D Celebrities do get used to this though. I used to work at sci-fi conventions and the actors would sign autographs in the thousands over a couple of days. 30k is insane though but it's definitely normal for celebs to do more than 1000. There’s a fair chance they been done since January/February. He’d have heaps of time to do them.
