Still really impressive, as these streams will be counted to tomorrow's mids to nudge Loreen ahead I'd imagine (plus she will have higher download sales than David).

I guess she might fall back on Thursday with the guesstimated average thing though, as her streams were a lot lower on Friday and Saturday. Still at least No.3 is on lock! I never would have expected it to match Euphoria's peak at all, at the time that seemed astonishing enough.

I think these are yesterday's streams, which counted towards today's sales update. So assuming David nudges ahead today, that'll be reflected tomorrow. :( :arrr:

#StreamLorQueen

The numbers in the update today aren't included in the current midweek update (they are yesterday's numbers yes, but Spotify lags by a day in the midweeks). So Loreen should almost definitely be ahead if all figures were up to date. I think she can still get to #2 but as per with Eurovision songs it'll be a grey area due to the forever untransparent 'estimated' Thursday streams.

Really pleased to see such a big Eurovision impact in the chart this year!

Worth highlighting that, despite receiving 0 points from the UK (from both jury and televote) in the final, Who The Hell Is Edgar is the sixth highest Eurovision song and probably on course to reach the top 100 this week. Love to see Teya & Salena finally getting some respect!

That's strong for another day. I suspect Alessandra will just remain outside the top 10 but 3 Eurovision songs in the top 10 is more than I ever imagined so that's fine.

Amazon now:

(#1 Flowers)

#2 Miracle

#3 Daylight

#4 As It Was

#5 Calm Down

...

#12 I Wrote A Song

#13 Tattoo

#17 Cha Cha Cha

#22 Queen Of Kings

Doesn't bode well for the Eurovision songs doing any more than holding their current midweek positions, aside from Cha Cha Cha which should still climb from #8 but Top 5 might be touch and go if its Spotify numbers fall at the same rate tomorrow.

it'll be a grey area due to the forever untransparent 'estimated' Thursday streams.

Why isn't the formula / algorithm made public?

I don’t use Spotify does anyone know if the songs are on hot hits etc now?

oh HH moved Tattoo up a bit today and is now track #10

too bad they didn't add Cha Cha or any other EU songs

crazy how high some useless tracks like React or that Jazzy song are on HH,

React was #1 on HH now is #2 and Jazzy has been #5 all week :/

Why isn't the formula / algorithm made public?

I guess they don't want to draw attention to it, and unless you've got all the data it would be pretty difficult to actually work it out yourself anyway.

I don't really care how they do it - it's just bad that they have to at all.

I'd love to see Loreen stabilise now, hope she manages to hold a decent placing on the main Spotify playlists for a while as it would be nice to see it become a longer running hit.

100%

I also want that because I want it to be known that the quality of the song contributed to her win (and this is an enduring quality)
