May 12, 20233 yr Author Not sure why they've A-listed that mediocre Rudimental song. Thought they would have added the new Tom Grennan this week - I heard them playing it this morning. That's some strong support for Jorja, I'm glad they've playlisted 'Little Things', I prefer that to 'Try Me'. Bizarrely they've removed the Weeknd/Future track after just two weeks :unsure: my first thought was that it's a mistake on the website but there's the right number of songs on the A-list and they don't seem to have played it this morning so far so I'm going to presume for now that they've genuinely removed it - anyone got any idea why?

May 12, 20233 yr Really strange that they’ve removed The Weeknd after two weeks, yet The 1975 get a ninth week. Shame ‘Welcome to the DCC’ is off, though hopefully they’ll quickly switch support to ‘Overcome’. That Rudimental song I feel they’re just going to stan like ‘La Danza’ around this time last year. Though the fact they’re at Big Weekend certainly helps. Pleasantly surprised to see Becky Hill insta added. Do we really need a fifth Wet Leg song A-listed in a row?

May 12, 20233 yr Midnights getting 3 singles when Folklore/Evermore were abandoned on day 1 :/ Folklore could have literally had like 7/8 singles <3 think the Weeknd song is a sorta soft single, it hasn't had any big push on Spotify, on HH it was added late and had been like track #40 or 50 all this time, which is very low for an artists like The Weeknd. Some worldwide on on TTH, even Die For You is still higher than this.

Objectively it wasn't a very commercial album like Midnights is, there's literally no way more than 2 or 3 singles would have done well. That said, I can't see 'Karma' smashing. May 12, 20233 yr I think Folklore not getting an elongated campaign was probably more Taylor's own choice if anything, she was spitting out a lot of stuff in very quick succession at that point and probably didn't want releases/campaigns to overlap. May 12, 20233 yr Surprised they removed Welcome to the DCC and didn't replace it with Overcome, when Nothing But Thieves are on R1's Big Weekend. Is Niall Horan at the Big Weekend? Didn't expect them to playlist his new one just yet. And kind of expected Tom Greenan on as well.
