Very small decrease compared to last Thursday but I am not worried about that as much as every week apart from week one Thursdays streams have been lower wow but other days higher. I think we will get an increase week on week tomorrow.

It may have stalled in the UK, but WW it is still on the upward trajectory. Will be extremely surprised if she doesn’t cross 800k today (on Friday)!

Decent streams yesterday but a massive decrease from laat Friday. Does anyone know if most songs have been hit by a lull in in streams? Could there be a reason for it? Is it school holodays which means lower streams etc. I dont know the answer but last Fridays streams were much higher. Maybe a lot of aongs have lost streams at the moment.

 

It does seem to have stalled though. Maybe its lost some playlists on spotify? So many unknowns.

 

Still if this is the start of the end then its done amazing so I am happy huns. Maybe it has more life in it yet and maybe theres a higher peak to come.

It's frustrating that it's stalled! :cry: That tease of it being on the cusp of cracking the Spotify Top 20 and it just couldn't quite do it.

 

Well, there's two new entries ahead of it and Dua Lipa moved ahead. So at least we can say that Kylie is now ahead of 3 songs that were ahead of her yesterday (Lil Durk, Loreen, Harry Styles - Satellite).

I can’t find the list that was put together of her Spotify playlists but is this a new add? Track 1 and cover for the ‘Just Hits’ 2.8 million followed playlist?

The songs at #20 and #21 are doing similar numbers to what Padam did when it was #21 last Friday... so it looks like PP has just lost streams rather than it being an overall trend.

Of new entries, only really Stormzy, though it’s by no means certain. It’ll be interesting to see how it progresses. Nicki Minaj is marginally above PP on Spotify but isn’t doing well elsewhere (admittedly elsewhere split between different locations, but still, it’s not doing well). Young Thug not looking strong enough to threaten Kylie.

 

As for climbers, Peggy Gou and and Hannah Laing stand a good chance of being above Kylie. Taylor ‘Cruel Summer’ and Nathan/Joel/Ella stand an outside chance. And never underestimate Rema.

 

And who can Kylie challenge: Switch Disco and Harry Styles.

 

And will BMG put anything else in place?

I'm in the camp of thinking it'll be 9 or 10 this week without BMG reacting to it.

 

I'm still keeping everything crossed that BMG will surprise us with a 7" vinyl... but that needs to be within the next 3 weeks. If it was a thing now I think we'd be having the conversation of Padam Padam possibly making the Top 5.

 

It'll be so disappointing if a 7" doesn't materialise for what is her biggest hit in years and years... surely it's on the cards? But quite a shame if it ends up being something they release in September perhaps.

It's still being added to numerous playlists, but they're minor ones in terms of followers. Including: Viral Dance, TOP POP 2023, dance room 2023, Hit Dancefloor, Causeway Trends, Juhannus 2023. Every little helps though!

 

Pop All Day was a relatively recent new playlist for it, added 3 days ago it seems. Over 500,000 likes but it's only 38th on the list.

Apparently the average wait time now for vinyl is 3 months.
