I actually managed to finally get a ticket to this today, to the 28th September Wembley gig. Some newly released production tickets went on sale this morning and I got an email code amazingly. It's re

There's already a thread in The Music Lounge...

Anyway, what an exciting and mysterious announcement! :o

Ah, fair

Some artist threads are here while others are in the genre forums, we need some consistency!

Things do for money :/ wish they were doing it for the sake of art/music but alas

I'd be interested to get nosebleed seats if they're not ruinously expensive, I never saw them live back in the day. They are behind a handful of my favourite songs ever, yet I still was never desperate to see them live in the 00s (I didn't go to any gigs at all in their heyday as wasn't really old enough).

Not sure they'd manage to recreate the same magic they once had - especially if it's only for the money - but I'm intrigued. Be good to get a new single at least too, it could be a No.1 for them on hype alone - curiosity streams, downloads plus a lot of physical sales should do it.

any word on new music? or is it just new shows? luckily I saw them at their peak in 95, so no need to see them live again as the number of post-95 songs that I like from them is probably 2 or 3.
Even if an official announcement comes. I won’t believe it until they are both standing on the stage for the first show. It could be a complete disaster or absolutely brilliant but either way it will be worth going to see.

Reckon just a comeback tour.

Like others have said, I think this is just purely for the money and no way it will be as good as their heyday but Liam’s voice is as good as it ever has been and who knows if they will even last the tour or do another one, so does really feel like one of those moments.

I wasn’t alive during their heyday and was still a bit too young the last time they toured so would love the chance to finally see them, feels surreal that signs are pointing to something actually happening.

Oh WOW! Really feels like there’s a lot more weight behind this than the usual rumours and all but confirmed.

Will be immense to actually be able to see them live if I can get those tickets.

I'm pretty sure it will just be a comeback tour as well. Maybe a one-off standalone single together if we're lucky, but the tickets will obviously sell themselves ten times over on the intense hype.

It's bound to be a comeback tour and perhaps if they can do with without killing each other, then new music could follow?

I bet they are fantastic to see in concert, they have so many great songs I'd be singing along to them. I just cannot stand them as people, they are horrible to each other and to others and Liam Gallagher in particular would be seen as nothing but a chav if he weren't in Oasis. As much as I'd really enjoy a concert I just can't part with money to see them. Still think it will be an amazing concert for whoever goes.

This is amazing new :cheeseblock: I was alive during Oasis's formation but I was far, far too young to ever get the opportunity to see them live! Liam, please don't throw any more plums at Noel xx

Cardiff Principality Stadium

4th / 5th July

Manchester Heaton Park

11th / 12th / 19th / 20th July

London Wembley Stadium

25th / 26th July / 2nd / 3rd August

Edinburgh Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium

8th / 9th August

Dublin Croke Park

16th / 17th August

Tickets on sale 9am (UK) & 8am (IRE) Saturday 31st August

3rd August at Wembley Stadium would be ideal as the day before my birthday *.* but will be grateful with anything as I imagine it’s going to be very difficult to get tickets… good luck anyone trying this weekend!

I would go to see this, but I parkrun at 9am Saturday's and Oasis ain't important enough for me to miss that!

Bit frustrated that I've seen a meme for this, basically used as an opportunity to diss Taylor Swift (you sold out Wembley 8 times, oh please....)

World tour allegedly, so while I think tickets will be tough to get I think they’ll be achievable. Plenty of space in those dates for more too when the first batches sell. Maybe not the 10 days at Wembley though.. I’d imagine 8.
Saw one of their last concerts in Cardiff in 2009 and would definitely recommend them as a live act to see given the chance.
you guys better aim at the 1st gig, just in case they split up after the first date :D
