Not sure, it’s out of the iTunes Top 100 and doesn’t appear to be doing much on streaming in the UK so would assume it could be leapfrogged by a few tracks currently behind it?

It's bad, cheap, cheesy and makes both Sam and Madonna seem more like laughing stocks.

 

BUT I don't hate it despite that :lol:

Also its kind of noticeable that despite part of Sam's 'controversy' being their pronouns, Madge completely leaves that out of the song. In fact the references to 'boy' etc. feel a bit ill-placed for that reason.

I guess a Sam Smith and Madonna collab was always going to be a bit OTT... but Vulgar - whilst not terrible - is just a bit crude.

 

Imagine if they'd teamed up for I'm Not Here To Make Friends... good pop song, bit of a statement, generally up for repeat listens.

Definitely won't climb next week, unless it does at a future date but I think this is it for 'Vulgar' in all honesty.

Seeing the lackluster reception on streaming, I can see S & M shelving the video and quietly sweeping this single under the rug, as if it never happened. :cool:

 

I would love to be proven wrong though as I'd like to see what the video looks like.
