May 26, 20232 yr I'm surprised there's no Tina Turner songs in the top 40 because of her passing. I think if Tina's passing was at the start of the charting week, you might have seen some impact. There has only really been a little over 24 hours of data that could be accounted for since the sad news broke. We may see some traction over the next week but by then, the immediacy of the news will have subsided and casual fans/streamers will have movedonto something else. . Apart from one of her greatest hits collections making impact on the album charts, I doubt we'll see any singles make the top 40.
