Like all have said, a 2 or 3 single release (like the 2000 days) would be a great idea. The real challenge is which week to release it (perhaps when it’s already top 15) to give it that boost.

I still can’t dream that big right now. I’m still thinking 11-15

The fact PP was added to much more bigger playlists is the breakthrough we hoped for but didn’t think would ever happen. There’s so much more potential on streaming for growth, higher placements on HHUK etc.

 

That plus the imminent CD release, building radio play listing for the next 6 weeks and it’s replay value….think it will go top ten.

 

If it doesn’t, a nice lengthy chart run picking up sales etc would be a brilliant thing also.

I think if she really goes for it on peak week when singles are released she could have a real chance. Streaming needs to continue rising and she should try be everywhere all the daytime shows and any big slots she can get that week to push it. Fingers crossed for her.

Hopefully it can get a decent chart run as ut would be nice for kylies weeks on chart to get a nice boost as her singles have had a short chart span for too long now.

I'm assuming 9th is correct, but we'll see. Pretty impossible to predict at this moment whether the CDs would be better timed for its third week or fourth week!

 

 

One great thing about how Padam Padam is doing is that it's surely inevitable that it will get a Silver certification, and relatively quickly too! We had to wait until October 2020 for Dancing to manage that (it was released in January 2018) while none of her other BMG singles have certified.

^^ I’m hoping the CDs are ready and they will be strategic about when they ship them.

 

 

I hope they don't limit the physical as this time round it just might get sales from outside the hard-core fans.

I think the main factor will be Spotify. She has the the physicals, iTunes and Apple streaming but Spotify just doesn’t seem to moving as quick as hoped.

I think it's a bit too soon to say with Spotify, it's only just been added to Hot Hits and newer releases tend to suffer more at the weekend.

 

I'm sure we'll see some big jumps in the coming week.

Honestly making the top 30 was huge so top 20 is the next big achievement. Then we'll see :wub:

As much as I would love it to get even higher, I think it can hopefully peak in a few weeks still at around #9 or #10 is what I’m thinking right now.

 

Either way, if it peaks top 20 only, that is still a massive massive win so don’t want to get too carried away and disappointed.

Top 20 is still massive for Kylie, as two weeks ago i would never thought it was possible, top 10 would be the icing on the cake,

^^ Agree with this, I think it will just cross the line to the Top 10 (If it’s close it will whip the fanbase into a download and CD buying frenzy :kink:), but I could see it going no higher than #8 - such an achievement if it manages to do it!

 

But, like you say I’ll equally be happy if it ‘only’ manages the Top 20 although I’d love nothing more than for her to add to her Top 10 tally :wub:

Ya if she is borderline she will need to whack out multiple versions as the fans will get right behind it.

I'm still hopeful that top 10 can happen. Part of me wishes the album release was sooner as promo could get her there but that looks like it's all been held for the album.

If this does go Top 10 then Kylie joins Cher and Diana Ross on five consecutive decades of Top 10 hits!

I think the same - if it does sneak in it’ll be due to it being close in the mids and a fan push via remixes or something will get it across the line, would be in the 8-10 region if it does make it (I actually quietly confident that it might!).
