Sorry if there is a topic elsewhere on this forum, literally one of those artists who can slot into Pop, Indie, R&B or Dance and it wouldn't feel out of place (feel free to move to the appropriate forum - I was thinking here, pop (where 'Petrified' is) or dance)

 

Anyway, METTE (of online fave 'Petrified' - how that wasn't a HUGE smash I don't know!!!) released a new song this year called 'Mama's Eyes'

 

 

It's really stunning! The verses are VERY Tinashe - HMU (For A Good Time), with a chorus that is absolutely STUNNING, wonderful and euphoric.

 

She needs to be HUGE.

This was in BJSC I think? I was quite a fan of it, very punchy hook.

Was in my personal chart top 10 recently after hearing it a lot on Future Sounds on R1 evening shows!

 

Her new single is a certified bop and her star quality is insane. She really has it all to become huge — also now signed to RCA with an EP next month.
