Very surprised to see 'End Of Time' make an appearance :o Disappointing to see Lana stall on the C-list with what's my favourite single of hers in forever. But you know it's a fresh playlist when the longest runner has only been on there for 7 weeks!

June 9, 20232 yr I know it's because of Sam Smith, but Radio 1 choosing to play a song where Madonna is one of the lead artists in 2023 is something else... even if it's only for two days. I would imagine they'll fade it out after the second "chorus"?

I have a feeling this could be because the label hasn't sent 'Popular' to them as an official single (or at least not yet?) I think it's everything to do with Sam, similar to how they won't touch Ellie Goulding with a bargepole these days but they're all over 'Miracle' because it's Calvin.

Hmm, Capital have playlisted Popular though and it got good placements on playlists so I can’t see why it wouldn’t be considered a single.
June 9, 20232 yr Pleased for Zara! I love the song. Hope it can do OK for her! Not surprised but great to see Nothing But Thieves climbing up. I need 'Overcome' to somehow, miraculously become a chart hit. So, SO good. Very Sam Fender!
