June 17, 20232 yr Lala ATE that, reminded me of when Kennedy Davenport won in AS3, you’d never have pegged her as winning that challenge but she undeniably killed it over everyone else. Jessica was hysterical too, “guacamole is expensive” :lol: I think she didn’t know she’s that funny either. Layla’s lipsync was amazing too, I absolutely love lipsyncers who just feel the song and the vibe and kill it without stunts or anything. Jorgeous on the other hand is possibly the most overrated lipsyncer ever on the show, 0 face, 0 vibes, nothing. I think people have vastly overrated Kahanna all season but she had no right being in the bottom this week! I wouldn’t say she was high but definitely a solid safe as compared to her other acting challenges I think she did let go and have fun a bit plus “A’Keria is the body” was one of the funniest lines of the whole thing! Kandy and Alexis were both pretty bad but Alexis was clearly the worst and I wouldn’t have minded her going. In saying that, Kahanna was put through it and it was probably best to put her out of her misery. And as much as I understand her frustration, All Stars is always full of acting/comedy challenges, why even say yes to it knowing what the parameters of Drag Race are if you just want to show off outfits and lipsync? :lol: Great episode but the fanbase are so vile this season that it’s really marring my enjoyment of any of it.

June 17, 20232 yr I really enjoyed this challenge! The episode had moments of tension. I'm finding it funny how this cast don't seem to really gel AT ALL; you have Jimbo and Jessica who are exasperated at how immature everyone else in the room is, but are grinning and bearing it, Kandy who is just determined here to compete and win at all costs and doesn't want any distractions, Lala who is just here to have a good time and do as well as she can, and Alexis and Kahanna over in the corner having a breakdown.

I agree about Jorgeous, her lip sync felt so lifeless vs LaLa. She seemed like she might've been stoned. :lol: Also she looked so tiny in comparison to LaLa! And yes my favourite line which made me genuinely laugh was the "A'Keria is the body" line. :lol: I thought Kandy should've been in the bottom over Kahanna - but as soon as Ru said she made her laugh I knew she wasn't going to be in the bottom. Jessica was really good in the challenge but I agree LaLa killed it. Jimbo's stink finger as well... :lol: Jimbo deserved another win for that amazing character but sureeeeee let’s pretend there are other queens in the competition too. Not at all! June 18, 20232 yr I do think this character was a little weaker than Jimbo usually is in this type of challenge, but still deserved to be in the top. I see a lot of people saying Kahanna should have been top over jimbo which I don’t think is remotely right for one line :lol: The discourse I HATE around this season is I’ve seen people saying it’s unfair to have so many comedy challenges as they obviously want Jimbo to win. For one All Stars is always more comedy based, that’s what the parameters of Drag Race are. And also, even if they had say another design challenge in the season or a makeover instead of say this improv and the acting trailers, Jimbo has been a costume designer for years so she’s still gonna do well at those!
June 18, 20232 yr Jimbo is just good at what Drag Race asks of you (bar lipsyncing) because she’s so free in herself, that’s all it is. Agree with most of this weeks results but I find Alexis hilarious whenever she opens her mouth, so regardless of how well she actually did in the challenge, as soon as she popped up in that wig, I was dying. Kandy was comfortably the worst and I don’t get how she keeps on getting by on playing herself without even trying to switch it up.
