Kylie's 12th studio album Kiss Me Once was released back in 2014 & spawned just 2 singles 'Into The Blue' & 'I Was Gonna Cancel' (the latter of which tanked & further plans were scrapped). Both 'Sexy Love' & 'Beautiful' were planned as potential singles at some point with the former being in the running for the 2nd single. But what are your choices from the poll above, I even included the bonus tracks & 'Sexercise' which did have a music video but was used as a promo release only.
June 20, 20232 yr This one's tough, whilst 'I Was Gonna Cancel' was obviously a bad choice I don't really think with how everything was at that point a second single would have got top 40 anyway (probably). I'm not really sure looking back there are any missed opportunities here, or something that should rightfully be a part of her singles discography. June 20, 20232 yr Les sex is the only song i genuinely like apart from into the blue so I'm not really sure any song would have done much. Crystalize although not in the album was a big highlight for me from this time and tgat dudnt do all that great. Kiss me once outside me not keen on the actual material also had further disappointments such as missing number 1, no top 10 single from the album and the album not selling great overall. The kiss me once tour says alot really on how kylie must have felt about the album.
June 20, 20232 yr Beautiful was marred by the excessive vocoder. Les Sex easily my fave track alongside ITB…Sexy Love and Sexercise probably the next best but the much maligned IWGC is a decent bop and has had more success in recent years because of Rupaul. Still weird they produced a decent video for Sexercise but it was only ever a buzz single. Guess they wanted to try new approaches. KMO Tour might have been underwhelming compared to the previous shows but she looked and sounded AMAZING. The Maida Vale promo concert she was scintillating vocally.

It's odd, since there was clearly effort going into finding producers/songs for the album yet nothing really sticks out as a hit. Something like Sexercize is catchy, but also mildly embarrassing/annoying.

June 20, 20232 yr One of my favorite KM albums :wub: Not sure anything could have saved the era but I would have gone with - Into The Blue A Million Miles Kiss Me Once Sleeping With The Enemy I'm so the opposite, everything was off with this era and it just didn't gel together at all, it's probably my least listened to kylie album but in a way it was good that it didn't fully work out as it played a part of Kylie going on the road to BMG and given us 2 brilliant albums and hopefully a 3rd in 3 months time.

June 20, 20232 yr Only songs I really liked were - Kiss me once - Clear first or second single Beautiful - I do not get the hate at all Sleeping with the enemy - deserved to be on the main album.
June 20, 20232 yr The album lacked obvious singles apart from into the blue. I don’t think any other songs would have done well at all to be fair.
