Remixes have already been commissioned for HOTN and a remixer has already posted about it so looks as though they are moving on from Tension now the remixes are out.

Chinaski is their name, they posted about it on their story. I don't know anything they've done though.

In the absence of anything currently happening with Hold On To Now (bring on the remixes and music video!), I may as well explain why the title being mistyped as “Hold Onto Now” is bothering me. :whistle:

 

 

“On to” isn’t interchangeable with “Onto”. There is actually a difference between their meanings. So not only is “Hold Onto Now” the wrong title, it also doesn’t make sense.

 

 

On to

On to, as two words, are used when on is a part of a phrasal verb. Phrasal verbs, are a group of two or three words that form a semantic unit which functions as a verb. When used as a part of a phrasal verb, on does not indicate a location.

 

Examples:

- Please log on to your computers.

- You must hold on to your dream, no matter how challenging it gets.

- Kylie Minogue - Hold On to Now :kink:

 

 

Onto

Onto indicates the movement of something from a particular position or location to another. The object was not present at the location initially but has now moved there.

 

Examples:

- They climbed onto the roof to gaze at the starry sky.

- Why don’t we step onto the dance floor?

 

 

Obviously in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t overly matter, I appreciate that many people won’t care, it’s just I’m a stickler for this sort of thing.
