I've said it already throw the iamspamspamamisink at it on release week to give it the best possible chance of a decent peak. Its likely it won't stay around long so for me it makes sense to just go for it on release week before the huge wave of Christmas songs arrive.

Not confident about there being an edit released commercially… BMG neglected to do so for both Dance Floor Darling and Tension. I feel like if there was going to be an edit released for Hold On To Now it would have been Track 1 on the physicals.

They can release an EP then on Streaming

Only 2 weeks to go until this is officially a single, i wonder what the video will be like, will it be low budget or will tehri be some effort put in like with Tension and Padam Padam.

Apparently the extended mix is being released on Thursday 2nd Nov (download/streaming). That coincides with ‘Extension’ (Tension album with extended versions) going up for preorder.

 

Odd timing in terms of the CD & cassette singles which aren’t out until Friday 10th Nov - meaning the extended mix won’t be exclusive to it. I’d have thought the physicals having a previously unreleased mix (at least for a while) would be a factor in attracting some physical sales :thinking:

Damn but i did think as much........

 

2 weeks in the 70s now instead of 1 week top 40?

 

Still the video to come out, hopefully that is on the 10th with the physicals as that can grab a lot of nice streams

 

i guess they know how many physicals they have sold in the last 4 days so maybe they are happy enough with those totals for that week

Seeing the money they've spent thus far for the album - the 2 videos, the visualisers, etc., I reckon we'll get a fairly good video for this too. Infact, soemthing tells me this was already shot months ago..who knows, probably the same time as PP or Tension?

It was shot same time as Tension i believe. She mentioned she had to videos to shoot.

 

Fans will support the download but that may be 1000-1500 copies.

 

 

Actually releasing the Extended Mix on 2nd then maybe an actual Radio edit on the 10th would be good?

The radio and extended edits need to be released side by side with the physical formats.
I'm fairly certain a video must have been filmed quite a long while ago as the second single was only switched to 'Tension' quite late in the day, and I think that one must have been made fairly quickly.
If Hold On To Now was originally planned as the second single the video would have been produced months ago.
