Yes but I guess they kind of know what they are doing.....

They will know the physical sales total for release on 8th. Probably another bigger remix to come that week. There is the Extended Mixes coming to streaming, the Bonus download may also come to streaming. The music video is coming I am sure,

I think another remix will drop 30th Nov or 1st Dec then the final one on the 8th Dec. They need fans to get behind it I guess and I think we will once we see the first look on Sunday 10th Dec I hope the MV comes 7th Dec into 8th Dec and not a week earlier as this is big streaming opportunity

I’m not convinced - an extended mix and the release of some physicals failed to do much, this remix will likely not take off and the (average) 5k physicals Kylie sells won’t be enough to lift it into the Top 40 especially without downloads, streaming etc., - we’ll see I guess.

I honestly think you're dreaming if you reckon it has any chance that week with the influx of Christmas songs and how much higher the threshold will be to achieve a chart placing.

Remember the Extended Mix was released to try and sell the Extended Mixes Vinyl. That wasn't disjointed, it was done to sell £30+ vinyl albums.

That was planned.

The only thing that really annoyed me was physicals releasds/shipped on 10th Nov for no reason but I am hopeful they know the amounts they have got on the week of 8th December

I'm looking forward to what they have planned.

They could stick a 99p EP store exclusive midweek and grab 2k more sales. Its in there hands. If they want it they could if they don't they won't!

Maybe planned but a potential waste for singles chart terms - I’m not convinced an extended version of an album track had the masses running to pre-order a £30 vinyl that hadn’t already planned on getting it, it’s quite a fan orientated release.

Totally agree, but that's definitely why they released it like that

Up to 10 on itunes

Already one of her most successful remix placings of the Tension era lol

It’s actually one of the best remixes this era - have added it to my streaming playlists for a few spins next week.
I like that they’re hoping on the trance trend and I think it’s a song that works well with that genre but I don’t know what I think about the remix itself. It feels like it’s a bit of a generic trance production put over the song without any thought for how it can compliment the song.
Its rare a remix really compliments a song and with Kylie it doesnt really happen for me, this remix isnt bad but hold on to now is just a great song for me that the remixes cant really improve it for me.
A List on Radio 2 from tomorrow

:cheer:

27 on physicals singles chart so some more CDs have been bought

That’s probably only about 30 sales though
