Really don’t see the appeal of her music. Very dull and lifeless but so are all her songs. Just not for me

This one is more dull and lifeless than usual though - I'm surprised this is on the Barbie soundtrack, would have expected something more fun and uptempo!

For me it's an 11/10 and absolutely love at first listen but I guess it's something catered for the sad indie kids (like me!) :)

Amazed the Barbie people accepted it :D

There’s something about her vocal on ballads what just hits me her voice is really soothing but it also feels like she’s really genuine in expressing exactly how she’s feeling through the lyrics, she’s such a special talent.

 

 

Put me in the insta love - this sounds very nostalgic and timeless like the sort of thing I would have listened to in the 1990s, much simpler times. This is particularly beautiful especially the backing instruments.

This is easily the best thing I've heard from the Barbie soundtrack so far! I appreciate how in-your-face the marketing for the film has been but there's room for stripped back moments too

Maybe it helped watching the video when listening to the song for the first time, but I thought this was really beautiful! I was completely captured by Billie's voice, the lyrics and the storytelling of the video. I say this as someone that finds her ballads very hit and miss.

Call me crazy but I think this is one of my favourite things she's ever done. I prefer it to most of her last album even! Stunning.

I know it's more of the same in regards to Billie doing ballads for the most part but hearing this on the chart earlier for the first time it sounded absolutely stunning. Tbh I didn't fully notice for whatever reason it was to do with the Barbie film lol as so used to seeing Dua as the highest charting track for a while already.

#2 in Australia, #2 in Ireland, #3 in the UK so far... but only #34 in the US so far... predicted to climb into the top 20 on week 2... let's see... for some reasons week 2 results are not up yet

I am glad it is not as some people expected for the Barbie movie. That is just another reason the movie subverts expectation

I don’t own a cassette player but at that price I’ve bought a cassette from her store :heart:

 

Really hope this pushes her to #1!

 

Also I don’t know if this had been reduced or if it’s just always been this price but it’s 59p on iTunes now both the single version and from the Barbie album too. It looks as though it’s risen on iTunes slightly although those sales won’t be that high.
