I've decided to stop trying to estimate the split between downloads/physicals/streaming, it's becoming too difficult now because the information isn't being shared.

Another week of over 1000 paid for sales is great this far in.

Fingers crossed for a 18k week and then just a slow fall in streaming sales regardless of the chart position.

 

Hopefully it’ll receive a nice boost in September to send it to Gold during October.

All going well it will tick along nicely by itself until promo kicks in, in September which will help boost it again, during that time let's hope she can get a 2nd top 40 with the next single.

I think she’s going to have a really good start to the week in First Look and be back at #10, expecting it to be Top 15 by Friday though.

Any success for kylie I'm always a yes for but padam has done well so I hope it doesn't overshadow the next single when kylie starts promo.

I think it'll remain at a similar position or maybe drop a couple, competition is fierce and I assume the two Barbie related tracks at least will jump ahead. All that matters though is avoiding ACR!

I wish I could predict the lottery as well as I can predict the charts.

A pity if we don't get to find out an accurate sales figure for Padam Padam this week :( It's the first time it's not been mentioned by Music Week. All we know is that it sold more than 17,272 which is what Becky Hill sold at #17.

 

Its total is higher than 204,494 (which is a combination of the first 9 weeks of sales figures + Becky's sales figure this week). We also have to take into account that we don't know how many copies Padam Padam sold on its release date... but I think we can safely say that its current total is over 205,000.

I was going to do the poll for week 11 predictions but with acr not confirmed yet it seems pointless as i had assumed it would go on acr and the poll was going to be predict where it will be next week, based on the assumption acr has hit we could do the prediction in this thread if that worked, for me if its on ACR i think it will stay top 45. Sinead O'Connor is at 45 with 8,588 sales this week so i think with Kylies sales halved she will still manage at least 8k. If she has managed to escape acr i think she will be number 21 next Friday.

Predicted 17 so only a place higher. Not bad!

If Padam Padam is on ACR next week, that'll probably be the end of us knowing what its weekly sales are. We might find out its ACR sales but probably less chance of SCR (which is still what would contribute to its running total).

I think the limited edition cassettes might bump it to #38 next week as an optimistic prediction, but realistically I'm expecting more #45.

 

It's had a great run, beyond what any of us could have expected!

The cassettes should soften the acr blow and keep the chart run looking a little but nicer for longer.

I think the cassettes may just keep it Top 40 too, although im not sure if it’ll achieve the same sales that the initial cassette did, some fans seem to be a bit meh about it.

Not to mention it is £5......

 

however if its close on Mondays update then no doubt we will all be buying and downloading PP once more haha
