I have no doubt there'll be more vinyl variants! The description on the current vinyl available: "Collectible album jacket with unique front and back cover art. 2 Crystal Skies Blue vinyl discs. Collectible album sleeves including lyrics and never-before-seen photos"

The Speak Now vinyl variants weren't announced at the same time!

Speak now did 67k with 2 months this has closer to 3 has a lot more variants available and is her biggest album I'd say 100k easy ,

Only downside is she ain't touring but has she got any big appearances lined up in October,

Was unsure on more than 1 week , if any of the albums will do it its this one but also still time for a big Q4 release to pop up

The popularity of this album is incredibly huge and is enough to carry it even without any new tour dates from now until the albums release. I'm SO excited for this. I feel like it was the turning point that made her one of the biggest popstars in the world, so it's going to have so much casual interest.

Iirc, this wasn't on Spotify straight away either, was it? This was released around the time she was beefing with them, right?

the us leg is over but shes doing a few in mexico at the end of this month and then oct/nov shes doing latin america
Red is her best by far, but fans like this trite pop, so it will do about 15k less than what Red did.
she should totally release Style TV as soon as possible, it's the most popular track for the last months now and she's giving all those streams to the old label... imagine if she did Style TV ft Harry Styles :D

You're in fantasy land if you think 1989 (TV) will open with less than Red (TV)!

I kinda feel a little bit sorry for FearlessTV all the others have had proper campaigns

Nope! Red is far better than trite pop. This album only has a few good songs - the singles.

She can keep that collab in the vault and destroy the keys.

Im expecting a collab with Selena more than anyone else on this album though.

Style has been always my favorite out of this album.

Two biggest singles of the album I find them to be annoyed when I hear them now and I think it's all because of the overplay they got (and still get)!!!

I've gone for 110-119K. I was a bit too ambitious with Speak Now but this has more variants and is so much more popular, not too mention she is still growing in popularity! Whatever it ends up being, it's going to be a huge commercial success. And i hope that it becomes the first TV to get a proper single with a proper push (a vault track plz!)
Less than Red more than Speak Now. Red was a universal favourite, 1989 is singles heavy. Also has the very unfavourable Shake it Off

1989 was considerably bigger than Red in the UK on arrival though and continues to be…
1989 has always been and still is now the biggest Taylor album, poor Red cannot even get close

I know you can’t fully compare the US to UK but to put it into perspective, she apparently did over 400k pre orders of this in the first 24 hours in the US which is over double what Midnights did. This is going to be huge

I voted 120,000-129,000

I guess the US is 5 times the population of the UK so you could make a roughy comparison along those lines

I don't know why Shake It Off has such a bad reputation among her fanbase - I think it's one of the best pop songs in the last 10 years, and I'm definitely not a Taylor fan.
