I didn’t expect Dave Cee to be #12 today but I reckon it will be lower top 10 by Friday

Don't see why as songs that go to ACR tend to fall slightly from the 'First Look' position rather than climb, if anything.

The top 20

1 ( 3 ) - Dance The Night - Day Lipa

2 ( 2 ) - What Was I Made For - Billie Eilish

3 ( 4 ) - Vampire - Olivia Rodrigo

4 - Bad Idea Right - Olivia Rodrigo

5 ( 7 ) - Cruel Summer - Taylor Swift

6 ( 6 ) - ( It Goes Like ) Nanana - Peggy Gou

7 ( 12 ) - Desire - Calvin Harris / Sam Smith

8 ( 9 ) - Disconnect - Becky Hill / Chase and Status

9 ( 5 ) - Barbie World - Nicki Minaj / Ice Spice / Aqua

10 ( 10 ) - 0800 Heaven - Nathan Dawe / Joel Corry / Ella Henderson

11 - Adore You - Fred Again

12 ( 1 ) - Sprinter - Dave / Central Cee

13 ( 11 ) - Speed Drive - Charli XCX

14 ( 8 ) - Fukumean - Gunna

15 ( 14 ) - Little Things - Jorja Smith

Sprinter isn't doing much on Amazon which has 2 days' streaming in First Look (compared to 1 for Spotify, Apple etc.), when the other platforms catch up I'd expect it to move back into the low Top 10

Joseph might be still holiday tomorrow so have wait sales info when he free

No I'm home now! Was meant to be home in time for First Look but train problems out of my control delayed me.

yay cruel summer avoided! hope it stays top 5 this week! also love dua being #1 tbh, hope billie gets a tuen next week too
Oh wow, 9/10 songs in that top 10 update include a female performer! Let's go ladies

And the tenth has a non-binary artist, so there's not a single all-male track in the top 10! *_*

Damn if the top 10 stays how it is its definitely going to be one of my fave top 10s of the decade so far (and even better for me if Sprinter push 0800 out)
looks like we'll certainly get an all-female top 5 too, how long since that last happened now?

There were several weeks near the start of the year where there were no male lead artists and no male vocalists in the top 5 (goddard. was the only credited male artist in all of them). The singles chart has been very female dominated in general this year! (minus 'Sprinter' hogging the #1 for 10 weeks ofc lol, and Calvin too although that also only had female vocals)

I'm not sure there's ever been a top 5 with no credited male artists at all (iirc this week in 2010 which had an all-female top 4 was either a first or matching the previous record so if it has ever happened it would have been relatively recently)

edit: the MW report from that week said it was the first time ever that the top 4 were female solo artists, so I guess that doesn't completely rule out previous occasions of all female top 4s that included groups or collaborations but I think that's probably fairly unlikely?

Wow having to wait 70 years of the charts for an all female top 5 seems wrong!

I remember (old fart) in February 1990, much was made in the press about 9 of the top 10 having female vocalists, in fact all of the top 6 were, with Phil Collins being the only male vocalist. Several of the songs were from dance acts with male members though. Has that record been broken yet (top 6 female vocalists)?

Dua hitting #1 would be nice to see! I hope this sets her up well for her next era!

It would be great to see Fred hit the top 10 by the end of the week but if it is anything like Rumble's chart trajectory, it probably won't (Rumble really deserved to be a top 10 smash tbh)

Dua hitting #1 would be nice to see! I hope this sets her up well for her next era!

Especially when she’s closer to ACR than Billie. It will be interesting to see the sales gap between the two tomorrow
