Personally the song is amazing to me, 90’s house meets Girls Aloud meets Kylie herself is a lush and divine result. Still holding off watching the video, as I want to see it on a TV screen, will manage to do so in an hour or so!

 

They chose it as a single because the leak was grabbing millions of views a while ago. Hopefully those who watched it back then remember and jump on the proper release!

I have NO idea what she is saying in any of the verses??? The chorus IS FIRE though.

I wans't aware the frozen dessert had been removed from the Oxford Dictionary, maybe we should give the Cambridge one a try, maybe it's a little bit more up to date. :rolleyes:

My first reaction when I heard 'Tension' (bear in mind I checked it out after going through a big forum contest song listening :lol: ) was well this is a bit rubbish and underwhelming but having now seen the video it has turned around for me and it's pretty good. Still not sure I absolutely love it though, yet anyway!

 

I think it might have been those effects in the chorus I wasn't too sure on when listening yesterday lol.

I love tension, probably not a single that will have huge replay value in years to come as its one of those on trend songs but it's the sound that's really working well for kylie right now.

Still a bit on the fence for now but I know it's going to grow like Padam did! The 90s-y production really reminds me of what Rose Gray's been doing the last few years, and that's exactly what I've wanted from Kylie for a while now. Glad I'm not the only one unsure what she's saying though :lol:

I quite like the video but don’t like tension at all. Worst Kylie single since I was gonna cancel.

The more i listen to tension i keep thinking its like a sound mixture of some elements from IP and Lets Get to with a bit of GBI thrown in for good measure.

I like it, don’t love it, could be a grower though. Padam was much more instant for me

Is it just me or the video has references to Kylie's past images? The showgirl-dress, the X look, even the size of the Cher look is from Giving You Up video.

 

I like the song and it could grow on me.

Total bop and the video is great. Lots of possible moments that could go viral on somewhere like TikTok. Hoping it manages a top 40 peak in the UK at least!
