Yes!!! It really helped drive Padam Padam's success once they picked it up and they're onboard much earlier this time around.

I see that it was played but I don’t see it in the playlist (yet)?

They take a while to update their playlist. It was played without her being a guest, so it’s playlisted (on Tuesday evening for the first time which is when they update the playlists internally)

 

Looks like Kiss have playlisted it too!

Don’t forget Padam’s first day of digital sales were on a Thursday hun….however, it’s so good Tension is picking up solid streams that we thought would be much harder to achieve, despite the Padamic.

Very happy to see Capital playlisting it! :o That bodes well for the song growing.

 

Based on the sales information we have so far it looks like the song will do somewhere around 12k (without the CDs) by the end of the week. That's assuming it doesn't rise on spotify/iTunes much more (fingers crossed for discount on iTunes).

 

I think it's pretty much guarenteed a top 20 position this week which is amazing. Hopefully its airplay will help boost sales/streaming and it'll get added to HHUK later this week. If everything goes well it might remain top 20 for a few weeks and may even get a new peak during album release week.

I am disappointed with the drop if im honest as a big part of me thought it would hold number 1 for the week but that is the greedy side of me having my hopes higher than they should due to padam padam spending so much time at number 1.

I know hun but hadnt Padam already been reduced to 59p by this point?

I’m kind of hoping they do wait - look what happened to the Leigh-Anne single (2 x 99p signed CDs, 59p downloads in week 1) and it went 11-52.

 

If they want to give it a boost this week then they should release the extended mix on her webstore and save the 59p iTunes price cut until next week.
