Tension is doing great, could of course be better if Spotify added it higher etc…all focus will be on rehearsals for all the stuff she has coming up so she hits big album week. I’m sure they’re more than happy with the reaction Tension has had that should hopefully lead to better album sales and album streaming.

I didn't order the cassette this time because of the shipping costs, but I'm glad others seem to have.

I think they will release something on Friday on Itunes as this will keep her high on the Capital Big Top 40 with her added radio plays and I don't think they will release an edit on album release day

 

I also see a few people with Casette and CDs arriving together so we may see a few more CD sales this week which will help

We also have to remember that Padam Padam had Warner Chapell Music behind it so that will have helped its playlistings on Spotify as well

Warner Chappell is a music publishing service, which is a subsidiary of Warner Music Group label, who have an Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA) with BMG.

 

Lostboy and Ina Wroldsen have publishing deals with Warner Chappell.

 

Warner Music Group (the actual label) did not act as a label for Padam Padam to be handling playlisting - it was still just BMG/Darenote, as it is for Tension.

“Since 2018, Warner Chappell Music have represented Ina's publishing interests.”

I know Warner Chappell is listed in the “sources” section, and it’s because of everything I shared above! The handling of the Padam Padam release is still down to: Kylie Minogue/Darenote/BMG. Same as Tension.

 

Say Something’s publishing company, amongst a few others, is Universal Music Publishing. Doesn’t mean that Universal Music Group stepped in to help with playlists.

If she's only 32 with the casettes included she's surely going to drop out of the top 40 come Friday? :( I hope they at least discount the song on itunes to try and get it another week in the top 40!
