Who could ever forget this one-hit wonder?

'One Foot' should have been just as massive! What a banger. They are really underrated in the grand scheme of things </3

I'm going to do a little bit of cheating because this person had a 2nd top 10 hit but it was only a feature (and probably would have been a hit if it was with someone else instead etc..) and tbh I'm pretty sure most people only remember her for this one hit anyway...

Although this has given me an idea for a similar kind of thread...

Oh well I guess that has killed off my thread in here then.

I didn’t consider that it would even be the first time it has been done, but I wasn’t very thorough in my research when I started, plus to be clear this thread was not “list as many one hit wonders as you can think of” which some I think were doing, but rather I was inviting ones to “nominate a one hit wonder you enjoyed” from the last 23 years.

Why has it killed it off Wardy? There's been songs mentioned by myself and a couple of others that extends further than the radio 1 thread from 2015 :P

I'm impressed at the success of this thread!

A beautiful song (#27, 2007), later covered by Birdy

although the singer Simon Aldred did eventually appear on a bigger hit, Avicii - Waiting For Love

I'd also nominate Rob Dougan for “Clubbed To Death”.. the promo video is great! Originally released in 1995 but finally re-released and charting at #24 in June 2002 in support of his debut album release, with no other Top 40 hits.

Madcon - Beggin' (#5, 2008)

This was still the best version of the song. Maneskin's version was so forgettable and the reason why it blew up was the 'ratatata' part.

Madcon almost made another top 40 with these songs:

Don't Worry got a lot of certifications and more streams on Spotify than Beggin', yet it only spent a week at top 100.

Who remembers this? Nice bit of EDM from a producer who seemed to vanish after one hit.

Mike Mago was a one-hit wonder but you can say that Dragonette weren’t as they did feature on "Hello" by Martin Solveig

He was the lead singer of The Guillemots and had only one hit as a solo artist and being a Billy Joel cover at that so from that angle I'd put him as a one hit solo artist wonder :P
