You're right it's 18 hours but it's most of the day and the first day of songs so it's higher most of the times. for WW streams the best time to drop is UK Midnight but then those 5 hours will be count as the week before in the US chart.

tbh its just a promo single, and quite an uncommercial one at that. apaprently the next proper single is gonna be agora hills, where as attention, demons and balut are just promo ones. well see if agora hills does well like pttr or not next week

Isn't the cutoff always midnight? Depending on the time zone? That'd make Australian numbers ridiculous if it was midnight UK time (-10 hrs).

Late to seeing this, but I'm pretty sure that Australia's Spotify days cut off around midnight UK time (10am in the eastern states). My recollection was when XXXTENTACION died, the news broke in the morning but that was enough to impact the prior day's streams. Similarly we occasionally get new albums impacting on the Thursday chart even with midnight releases here, and Christmas Eve's numbers are about on par with Christmas Day.

Slime You Out did only 2.4M in the US in the full day, which indicates that the US cutoff time cannot be midnight UK time. That would mean it did 2.1M in less than ten hours and only 2.4M in the next 24.
Spotify say that their charts cut-off at 12am UTC which would be 1AM in the U.K. until the clocks change.

Also, if Friday in the US is always "short", all new songs should increase on Saturday, but that's not the case - Tate McRae went from 1.045 million to 795k.
