Well single number 2 is finally here but where do you think Tension will debut next Friday September 8th?

I have added a bonus itunes prediction aswell and hopefully Tension can net Kylie her 2nd consecutive iTunes number 1.

I have no idea on this one - usually for a Kylie single I’d be predicting Top 75 :lol:

 

I’m praying for a Top 30 debut and it will be #1 on iTunes.

Also going for #1 on iTunes, and Top 30 in the chart. I'd like to think that support for Tension in week 1 will be healthier than Kylie is usually accustomed to, thanks to coming off the back of Padam Padam. Plus a full week of downloads should be very helpful!

I think it should be an easy enough itunes number 1 but with the actual chart its so hard to call, im trying not to build my hopes up because of padam padam doing so well, part of me thinks she could get a top 40 debut and then the other part of me is like oh will we be going back to how her other singles have performed prior to padam padam but i do think she will be very safely top 50 at worst but im gonna stay positive and go with a top 40 debut.

iTunes Number 1(3rd Minogue Number 1 of 2023).

It’s decent enough, but not one of her best, and not as instant/ catchy as Padam was imo. Easy #1 on iTunes, would be nice if it went top 40 for her but I’m expecting it to have a solid top 75 entry

Hoping for streaming support, at least NMF should be a solid enough start.

 

She is already 11 and 123 on Itunes and she has big Radio promo this morning so that should push it

 

Video should get lots of attention in week one and grab some good views/streams

 

top 40 needed about 10,000 sales last week and its a very competitive time in the UK chart now....... fingers crossed

If tension gets a top 30 or 40 debut I'd be be over the moon with the result.

I'm going top 75 for debut week as we don't have remixes or any physical to help push it, plus it's fresh to radio.

Considering Tension has the best playlist advantage of any Kylie single launch ever (Good placing on NMF, Pop Rising, Top Hits on Apple Music etc), plus the hype of following Padam. Also the video and downloads at the start of the tracking week, I would be disappointed with anything less than top 30. Ideally I would like it to outpeak Padam’s week one at #26.

Without hot hits it ain’t getting near the top 10 this week

Well it's itunes peak already confirmed and lovely to say another number 1.

Im starting to think (but im trying to stop myself) that Tension could become Kylies 45th Top 30 hit.

With Tension already being top-50 on Apple and obviously number one on iTunes I can see a top-40 this week!

 

Especially given last week’s number 41 only generated 8,319 sales units. Whether it is a top-40 or a top-30 will depend on Spotify figures now.

Yes based on today's sales posted 8500 would safely get her top 40. Od say she might manage 3k paid for sales alone this week.
