October 30, 20232 yr The domination of Taylor in music is incredible in many respects, but I also can't help find it a bit tiresome, it's just non-stop. I hope at some stage very soon she disappears for a year or two. I kinda feel the same, it feels never ending and overkill but hats off to her at the same time with the sales she is pulling in plus having about 10 albums in the top 100 shows the huge demand that is there for her. Those midweek sales are insane in todays climate and while I'm not a big Taylor fan I am a fan of big album sales as its rear these days. Could you imagine her streaming figures if she released a greatest hits.
October 30, 20232 yr I’d say there’s very little chance of Cruel Summer staying in the chart this week as still way behind the 1989 top 4 on Spotify Day 3. Looking like Style TV could well be her 4th placed song and miss the chart unfortunately.
October 30, 20232 yr Holy crap 139k is higher than Midnights was on at this stage and that crossed 200k! Granted Midnights streams were a lot higher though and were more stable but still, wow! Was not expecting that :o Edited October 30, 20232 yr by Starlight 13
October 30, 20232 yr I think there’s probably a bigger issue in FONY than the word S!ut Oh yeah for sure but the conversation is about the word slut nof the other slur used
October 30, 20232 yr Rumours are that is it over now is gonna replace slut as a single cos it’s doing better (hence the Taylor would pick a single based off of what fans chose).

October 30, 20232 yr From the OCC Taylor Swift already secures the biggest opening week of any album so far in 2023, with 1989 (Taylor’s Version) currently outperforming the rest of the Top 40 combined on its way to Number 1. Over the weekend, the re-recorded edition of Taylor’s fifth album (originally released in 2014) has pulled in a staggering 148,000 chart units, blowing away the previous title holder, Lewis Capaldi’s second LP Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent (which accumulated over 95,000 chart units during its first week on sale). This means Taylor is well on the way to securing her 11th overall UK Number 1 album, likely extending her record as the female solo artist with the most chart-topping albums this century.
October 30, 20232 yr @1719039156410544601 Looking decent in the singles too, even if she doesn't get the whole top 3, I do hope we get a #1!!
