November 2, 20232 yr Sales for James Blunt seem a bit disappointing. I always thought he was a fairly consistent seller.
November 2, 20232 yr I actually thought Blunt is doing ok-ish, zero buzz and he's the kinda artists with a casual fanbase not the crazy vinyl collectors that are gonna buy 9 different colour variants so if he does 10K that's ok I think
November 2, 20232 yr It’s funny how everyone praises Taylor for going to #1 with those sales but when Ed was going #1 with those sales, everyone was criticising him Put thinks into context!! If you're album does 700K on week 1 and the next one does 170K, that's a huge drop in popularity whoever it happens to, Adele, Ed, Taylor but also put it on timeframe, sales 5 years ago are not the same as 2023, so cannot really compare either
November 2, 20232 yr Also can everyone take the context of this is a a TEN YEAR OLD ALBUM, which most people already have, most people have already and continue to stream? It's just unbelievable scenes and anyone trying to put it down is very very bizarre, fan or not a fan of Taylor. She is her own industry at this point, no-one else could do this.
November 2, 20232 yr I hope Prada and Strangers are #2 and #3 on Friday. It's quite possible there is only 1.7k sales between 2 and 5 Spotify Thursday guesstimate could be interesting
November 2, 20232 yr Please don't make me feel old by saying 1989 is ten years old when it isn't yet
November 2, 20232 yr Welcome back to the Christmas songs in this morning's Spotify chart. Sadly no sign of Monster Mash. Slut remains as Taylor's third track, but should be overtaken by Kenya Grace by the end of the week.
November 2, 20232 yr Welcome back to the Christmas songs in this morning's Spotify chart. Sadly no sign of Monster Mash. Slut remains as Taylor's third track, but should be overtaken by Kenya Grace by the end of the week. There is a streaming thread

November 2, 20232 yr I wouldn't have thought anyone else behind them could make up a 6k deficit, surely?
November 2, 20232 yr Maybe it's just a bid for them to sell as many copies as possible? 29 tracks for £5.99 is amazing value.
November 2, 20232 yr Anyone who wants to help Taylor get the top 3, buy SLUT! and Now That We Dont Talk on iTunes/Amazon/Qobuz. SLUT! might fall behind Prada so we need to get some sales in today. If anyone wants to start a topic like we did for Kylie then please do. With these two songs as a focus. Style is out of the Q.
November 2, 20232 yr Please don't make me feel old by saying 1989 is ten years old when it isn't yet  Spare a thought for those of us who are old enough to remember buying singles and albums in the year 1989!! :D
November 2, 20232 yr Are the people trying to put it down in the room with us? I wonder if Bristolmans is gearing up for his usual appearance
