November 11, 20232 yr Hoping 1967-1970 and 1962-1966 both get new peaks, at #1 and #2 respectively! I'm fairly sure either album would have the most weeks on chart and longest time since release on first reaching #1.
November 11, 20232 yr Hope we get a Wednesday sales report this week. If the cassette sales and the 12 inch sales were not included last week there is a possibility that Now And Then could remain at no. 1. It is at present no. 1 on iTunes, You Tube and Amazon (and also at no. 2, with sales of 1,000 from Friday). On the album chart I expect the Blue album to be no. 1.
November 11, 20232 yr ^ I read that post from the bottom upwards and for a second I was very confused because I didn't think Blue had a new album out
November 12, 20232 yr Hope we get a Wednesday sales report this week. If the cassette sales and the 12 inch sales were not included last week there is a possibility that Now And Then could remain at no. 1. It is at present no. 1 on iTunes, You Tube and Amazon (and also at no. 2, with sales of 1,000 from Friday). Those sales just aren't being counted at all because they have a limit of 3 physical formats for singles for some reason. (They certainly wouldn't be counting to this week in any case). Would be good to see '1967-1970' finally reach #1 this week (assuming it'll be the more popular of the two as it usually is), just checked what held it off before, it spent 3 weeks at #2 behind David Bowie's 'Aladdin Sane', fair enough! Could have been 2 weeks in a row of the record for longest time between release and hitting #1 being broken if only Oasis had held on last week...
