Can’t see the Beatles holding on, they’ve dropped a lot in streaming and I doubt the early physicals will be enough to hold on all week

The only way the Beatles hold on is if 25K more singles are released

Last week they did 40K so 5K is not gonna cut it

of course Harlow is the favourite now but Dua's physicals are not counted in so Jack stans (or rather Dua haters or rather Ed) don't count your chickens yet

Oh don’t tell me Hozier is not gonna be credited on the Noah song

Despite never charting before :/

Oh don’t tell me Hozier is not gonna be credited on the Noah song

Despite never charting before :/

The song itself isn't new and will be registered on the database even if it hasn't charted before, hence the original credit remaining

Oh thought the rule was unless it hasnt charted

But xlearly not

In this aspect Billboard is much better

Yeah, Noah's other featured artists (Lizzy McAlpine/Kacey Musgraves) haven't been credited in recent weeks either unfortunately!
Northern Attitude is incredible, hope it can properly take off when Stick Season dies down (although most likely will be completely overshadowed)

I assume there's gonna be a new version of Noah's album with all these new duet versions

otherwise it doesn't make sense to release them all now that Stick Season is blowing up

The OCC have now given us a proper summary of last night's first look chart:

After making a record-breaking return to Number 1, The Beatles face some competition to retain a second consecutive week at the top with Now And Then.

The Fab Four remain at Number 1 at the midweek mark, but they see stiff competition from US rapper Jack Harlow’s Lovin’ On Me (2) and Dua Lipa’s kinetic Houdini (3), with little over 2,000 chart units separating all three tracks.

Rising singer-songwriter Noah Kahan’s first UK Top 10 hit Stick Season is expected to reach a new high of Number 7 on Friday, and he could earn a second Top 20 placement with new entry Northern Attitude at Number 14.

Olivia Rodrigo’s Can't Catch Me Now (taken from The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) is on the rise, up five to Number 13 midweek.

Chase & Status’s chart domination could continue with a third Top 20 single, Selecta featuring Stefflon Don (19).

Following the release of her debut album Heaven knows, PinkPantheress’s team-up with Central Cee, Nice to meet you, is heading for Number 20.

It’s come to my attention that a 10-Year Anniversary version of Passenger’s Let Her Go which features Ed Sheeran has been released. Based on recent precedent with Pompeii and Teenage Dirtbag, I wonder if that may get reset and return to the top 40?

More than likely :arrr:

That is the last thing the chart needs. Utter borefest

Very boring album top 5 for me and a really poor start for Maneskin.

Id say Michael Buble will be closer to top 20 on Friday.

Last time the same artist had #1 and #2 in the album chart?

The Blue Album  such a high quality collection of songs

I was wondering where Substance would be as my vinyl turned up over the weekend, yay for top 10. Funnily enough the reissue pressing I ordered is blue and red, so even more relevance for those colours in the album chart this week

Måneskin isn't a new release.

I hope Baby Queen can keep her top 10 place.
