8th is so much more than I was expecting for a cheap sample of Carol Of The Bells, but thanks to the voters for making it happen! That’s a great year for spin-offs for Zanmatony having finished 2nd, 3rd, 11th and now 8th.

 

Looking forward to 2024.

Edit: I’ve just listened to it, a very different take on it from my entry! :lol:

As I expected, really great result, I loved finding Enya as a discovery, and in actuality, as Jadakissnia's in the top 3 behind me, the top 3 is made of my 12, my 10 and myself which, I'm not sure I could ask for better, excellent result. With Trifoski, Why So Sirius and Persephonia all in the top 10 too, it really is a great match between my top 10 and the contest top 10 woo ^_^

 

Thank you to everyone who pointed Sabaton, I really have been struggling for ages to find a song from them that I think would work in the contest so I'm very pleased that this has done so well and maybe at some point I'll get enough confidence to send one of their songs to main, as you might expect if you know anything about them and me, I've been a huge fan of them for several years and their recent material has only been getting better and better with 'Christmas Truce' and the whole album it's from some of their best power metal work yet - plus I always like the thematic, weighty Christmas songs.

 

and thank you Seven for a very well run contest, very glad I chose to enter in the end.

I'm just not really a Sia person tbh. I would love that song so much more if someone else had sang it instead, probably! I find her voice horrible to listen to for the most part. It's fine to start with but it doesn't take long before it grates on me!
