Well that's an interesting development further down the chart. Last year Nat King Cole - Deck The Halls charted for the first time ever out of nowhere and now I see his version of Joy To The World debuting just a year later. Joy To The World I play the most out of any Xmas song each year.

I think that Ariana run of missing the top 10 might continue with Noah pushing her out 😂we shall see

She'd need 2 other songs to overtake as well to be knocked out of the top 10 :P

Likewise Dean Martin charted for the first time with 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' last year and looks like he may get another new hit with 'Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer' this week! (That one is as high as #68 so more likely to hold on than Nat King Cole's too)

I love arguing with people that the Network chart is made up crap!

It's incredibile how some people think that chart is the real one, it's like buying fake Parmesan cheese made somewhere outside Italy

Can’t be worse than Drake?

Drake from scratch would be a nightmare but thankfully his chart history has built up over the time Buzzjack's been around, so nobody's ever had to type the full thing up in one go. Elvis on the other hand

(one day I'll get good use out of that chart history, even if it's not this week x)

Interesting that The Rolling Stones are down to #15 in yesterdays mid-weeks. I wonder why they suddenly shot back to number 1 last week and are now down to mid-top 20... Yes, I know Greatest Hits tend to do better around this time and seem to have barged their way up but I assumed they would survive that onslaught and only fall to like 3-5 after being quite a stable seller since it's release (doesn't bother me either way though as I haven't heard and don't really care for the album - just an interesting observation). Even with it just being a Q4 seller, I assumed after seeing it hold up as well as it did, it would just gradually start falling out.

Boo that we haven't got sales! I wanted to see if '1989 (Taylor's Version)' had hit platinum already or whether it'll be today...

That's how Creator Universe persuaded TikTok that their song was #1 on the "Global Chart". Step aside, Wham! and Mariah Carey.

It returned to #1 last week because it had a new physical version!

Just realised Leona & Ne-Yo's "Kiss Me It's Christmas" was #79 in Wednesday's update! I'm thinking it's done enough to stay top 100 in tomorrow's chart and reach a new peak (previous peak of #99)!

yes the Rolling stones released the Live Edition of their last album on Dec 15

it's the regular album expanded to include a live album

perfect timing to grab the Xmas #1

Probably very minimal especially at the top 20, the timing just means they’ll be all completely gone by next week

Think Cher might still be top 100 next week.

Those Sam sales just seem ridiculous to me… how popular can Amazon Music really be?
84k? How is that possible? Alexa needs investigating IMO

I was thinking 90k+ for Wham! so that figures. The streams for both will be very low now so presumably that’s how it will stay. I wonder if Sam will kick himself for not saving some of the sales push to this week.

Great sales for the top 2 there, Wham approaching 200k on SCR!

Wham! may still pull ahead more than it looks due to overestimated Thursday streams - it does make sense that Sam is not far behind though after he was #1 on First Look and I guess he must have been only barely behind on the Wednesday update?
