Greenlight by Pitbull is Luke Littler’s walk on song at the Darts World Championship before anyone asks

Nice to see J. Cole's classic 'Work Out' enter for the first time at #187!

Is there a possibility that Sabrina could be in another payola situation? The jump yesterday seemed pretty unnatural.

When I checked yesterday Lewis was added to Apple's 'Today's Hits' yesterday!

It's a shame 'Promising Young Woman' didn't quite match the cultural relevance of 'Saltburn' and send Paris Hilton's 'Stars Are Blind' storming back up the charts. Emerald seems to love a good 00's needle-drop moment in her movies (and it's use was a really cute, feel-good scene (so completely different kind of scene to Sophie's use lmao))

Watching 'Anyone But You' later today but I do love seeing songs from the 00's make resurgences due to movies. So yay for Natasha!

I don't think Sabrina is autoplay, it's been doing well over the Christmas break was just obviously much lower down due to Christmas songs.
Sophie’s going to have to be added to Hot Hits U.K. tomorrow right?

Yes 'Feather' has been looking like a likely biggish post-Xmas clearout hit for a while now.

Gwan Sophie and Mason again today *.* and here for a chart revival of 'Unwritten' too, current buzzy movies are on point with their 00s throwback soundtrack picks.

A song being boosted into the charts by a darts tournament *_* tbf this is the first time I can remember darts being unavoidable news (albeit mostly because of the Inbetweeners subreddit posting memes comparing Littler to Wolfie from the work experience episode #ifyouknowyouknow )

I presume there's a good chance she will be added but no song ever 'has' to be added there, it's entirely the discretion of whoever at Spotify curates it.

I mean yes, I understand that, but it would seem massively odd if a song that is smashing globally without playlisting isn’t playlisted.

Who would have thought that darts would have an impact on streaming. :o

I see that 'Cake By The Ocean' didn't re-enter the walk-on music for Luke Humphries.

Or the song that is used in Sky Sports advert breaks:

That does make sense, I guess a jump of 51 places stood out to me a bit

I suppose It was my brain desperately trying to deny the fact that 'Feather' is going to be a hit :kink:

Is Saltburn making waves in America at all?

It'd be insane if it showed up there after being totally unknown the first time around!

Murder On The Dancefloor #83

No sign of Mason.

I know she just replied to a tweet about MOTD being #1 on the US Viral Charts, so it must be making some kind of waves, for as little as that chart often means.

She peaked at #75 on US Spotify a couple of days ago, I don't expect that'll be enough for her to make the official Billboard chart.

The Hot 100 also has a 3 year-old rule, songs that are more than 3 years old aren't allowed to chart in the bottom half of the Hot 100 (they are automatically considered to be recurrent) so they have to be in the top 50 before being allowed on the chart. So Sophie will probably need to be like top 20 on Spotify to chart there as she's got no airplay.
