She's shot a new music video, it's not clear yet if it's for a song already on the album (PLEASE BE SUPERNATURAL) or a new track from the predicted "Full" Deluxe of the album. Just saying 'Supernatural' this time of year alongside the Wicked promo would be STUNNING.

That means only 2 of her albums have done less than 52 weeks in the chart. Those being "Yours Truly" (5 weeks) and "positions" (43 weeks).

Anniversary coming up shortly so I sure hope so, this album has been THE soundtrack to my life for the last year and I need more, need to know what's next. It's like therapy to my ears.

Eternal sunshine slightly deluxe and also live is available now containing live versions of intro, don’t wanna break up again, eternal sunshine, supernatural, yes and, wcbf and imperfect for you. And the videos will be dropping one day at a time this week, first one being intro!

Are we still getting a new single does anyone know or will the video mentioned earlier in the discussion be the live versions?

Happy to see her give us a little something extra for this era regardless though. I like it when she does the live additions to tracks -_-

You could be right, it's just a recent interview with Vanity Fair stated a part of it was "on set for a one continuous shot music video", so they could have just been there during the lives. I guess we will see. Seems odd if we would get another video from this era since Ariana said on IG that the lives will be the last of anything 'eternal sunshine' and all focus will then go to 'Wicked'. If that is true, it'd be a shame not to get an Autumn single, but we've had to deal with so many missed single opportunities already, not getting another from 'es' will hardly phase us at this point. <_<

All caught up on the performance videos now. Like Julian, 'supernatural' is definitely my favourite at the moment and I also need it as a single x

The penultimate live performance upload is available now for the beautiful 'we can’t be friends (wait for your love)'

The final live performance is up, 'imperfect for you' this has ended on such a high for me with my two favourites on the album *.*

I've had the album on repeat again for the last couple of weeks. It's sounding as good as ever

Don't think I ever commented on the album at the time of release, but I have listened to it throughout the year and just completed another listen now. It is a good album, but I can't deny I was a little disappointed it didn't pursue the dancier vibes of 'Yes, And?' and 'We Can't Be Friends'. It starts strong with 'Bye', then falls into the usual Ariana sound she's been doing since 'Thank U, Next'. Like I say, I still got a lot of enjoyment from the album - other the aforementioned three, I really like the title track, 'Supernatural' and 'The Boy is Mine' - I just hope she'll switch things up more with the next album.

Ari's Grammy nominations this year:

- Best Pop Vocal album: eternal sunshine

- Best Dance Pop recording: 'yes, and?'

- Best Pop Duo/Group recording: 'the boy is mine (remix)'

A shame that 'we can't be friends (wait for your love)' was completely snubbed :(

yes, and? I’d say stands the best chance of a win but a real shame that the albums main highlight and success wasn’t nominated. She’s always been rather under appreciated Grammy wise but I’m happy there was some nominations at least. Would love a win but we’ll see!

I think this is shaping up to become at least my second favourite from her as a whole project. Still amongst my albums of the year and just a really strong album all around

So few nominations for such a great era :(

'we can't be friends (wait for your love)' would have been so deserving of winning something, but not even nominated... grr!

This era has received a couple of mentions in EOY lists today!

Firstly, eternal sunshine is #8 in Rolling Stone's 'The Best 100 Albums of 2024' list:

Ariana Grande’s seventh album is a gorgeously exposed journey to the end of her world — or at least what she believes to be the end. It’s a divorce album that goes through all the stages of grief, as the singer navigates a new beginning with some of the most honest and inventive music of her career so far. After “Intro (End of the World)” poses the album’s central question, she spends the next couple of songs fighting for either herself or her relationship, in music that can evoke anything from Robyn to Diana Ross to Aaliyah. She toggles between moments of resilience, acceptance, and hope for the future, no matter how uncertain it may be. —B. Spanos
Then 'imperfect for you' landed at #36 in NME's 'The 50 best songs of 2024' list:

An overwhelmingly beautiful ballad with a touch of psychedelic soul, ‘Imperfect For You’ is as close as you can get to a hidden gem on one of the year’s biggest pop albums. Love has equal potential to hurt and to heal, and Ariana Grande carries both possibilities with boundless grace. KSH

Delighted to see 'imperfect for you' getting a shoutout - it's still my second favourite on the album, only behind 'we can't be friends (wait for your love)'

Ooh some more recognition today - eternal sunshine has placed at #6 on Billboard's 50 best albums of 2024 list!

Though sometimes unfairly neglected due to its early 2024 release and the crush of blockbuster pop albums by female artists that followed it in the spring, Ariana Grande turned in one of the finest LPs of the year with Eternal Sunshine — a delicate-but-danceable 35-minute reflection on finding new love while bracing against a crushing breakup and brutal public speculation into the singer’s personal life. Led by not one, but two Hot 100 No. 1s (“Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)”) and anchored by an Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind concept, the project showcased some of the Wicked star’s best vocals, songwriting and musicianship to date, all while giving listeners a sometimes painfully raw look into the complicated heart of one of the world’s biggest pop stars at the very top of her game. — H.D.
