Having been in BJSC for nearly 10 years, you'd think Harmonica would've had a plan in place for the possibility of hosting one day. Well, that day has arrived, and the plan does not exist. (With our track record, can you blame us for thinking we'd never get to host?) So, with just a few days before the other countries start to arrive, we are doing fun things like paving roads, building hotels, and seeing if anyone has a spare arena in their backyard. Even this green room is not finished yet, but it's all we've got at this point. Not to worry, as our Lady Sunshine has promised everything will be "not terrible".

In the meantime, we do have a tentative schedule of events - please plan your root canals and jury duties accordingly!
Confirmations: Thursday 4th-Thursday 11th
Semifinals: Friday 12th-Friday 19th
Semifinal results: Saturday 20th
Finals: Sunday 21st-Saturday 27th
Final results: Sunday 28th

Found a song a couple of weeks back so have been ready to go for this one! Sticking with post-punk vibes for a second contest in a row although a very different flavour of it (much more electronic this time). And after a boring year of just sending mostly American artists last year this one is our first new nationality (for a lead artist) for a while as we are going Chinese :magic:

 

(oh and it's also going to be my new 2nd longest entry ever, though still 2 minutes shorter than my longest x)

Due to life changes this will be the last contest with Utopia in it for a while. It'll be the 50th (of a possible 56) since I made a return, so feels nicely timed. I will be sending something from (probably) my favourite album of all time, and cross fingers for an AQ.

Not sure what to go with this time. We have a folksy very unknown possible, pop as usual, or a foray back to dance where we haven't been in a few...iirc

Also not completely sure! Got a few options but nothing I'm 100% certain on, so we'll see where the wind blows ~

Got a psychedelic synthy banger lined up, my favourite potential entry so far! It'll also be my oldest entry to date if it doesn't get vetoed (which It is a lot closer to compared to my other entries).

Yehesi is most likely travelling to the outskirts of Europe for this one. Still torn between 2 songs though
