14th week at number 1 16 week in total

As for tainted I don't think it is really, Alls fair in love and Poetry

Idk if this is referring to last week against Kanye or this week against Chappell but...

Iirc, this [whichever week it refers to] isn't the first time that if you removed her digital sales she would have remained number 1.

Edit: I see that it’s in the write-up for this weeks chart (vs. Chappell)

Maybe I wouldn't mind the digital editions tactic so much if they included more than one additional track per version... $4.99 each time just to get one new song... :drama:

It's such a great album and it deserves its success, and as posted above by Tafty it's evidently still popular enough to naturally manage weeks at #1 without the digital albums. So it's confusing why Taylor and/or her team/label are doing this with such frequency and making her come across badly, with the perception being that she's going out of her way to block other artists.

Here’s my theory on it (and obvz idk if it’s true ofc)

She wants the album with the most weeks at number 1. Whether that’s just female solo artist or general album idk (I know Adele is the record for solo female with 24(?) weeks - I’m not sure what the record is for and who holds it overall). When she is close to her competitors, that’s when she releases the digital variants, to try and remain and solidify the number 1. When she isn’t close at all, that’s when I think she doesn’t bother.

It really doesn’t bother me coz I haven’t bought a single one (and it seems no one else really does either) so it is what it is to me tbh.

I like this album but it's absolute desperation now and is going to start a downfall in her popularity, it just looks bad taste now. I've gone back to not being able to stand her and I know a lot of people who feel the same, I think her good fortune is about to run out. This isn't still the biggest album out there 14 weeks down the line and isn't the best this year. It's actually infuriating seeing her on socials now

If she really truly wanted these extra songs out there she would a) put them all put together b) give them out on streaming. As she has not to me it really shows a lack of actual care or wanting to release them for the fans and more a desperation to cling on to the top

Most artists would release them onto streaming or onto a deluxe she hasn't and to me that's making the mockery of her famabse

My problem isn't the tactics per se - they are free to do what they want - but it's the obvious need to divide other artists into two groups, her faves and others. When her friend is releasing, she does not release new version but she did absolutely everything she could to block Billie, like a childish revenge or something. I mean... grow up!

The album is so high on Billboard thanks to number of songs on it. Nothing besides the first two singles has stayed on streaming charts. Billie, on the other hand, has four, and more acclaimed album so she's the true winner of this battle.

WAOLOM is meant to debut in this weeks top 100 based on the Monday mids, replacing fortnight! I honestly think they could make it a Halloween theme single with a spooky ish video a la the graphics on the eras tour!

Even use the tour performance as the official video if have to give it a boost

'Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me?' debuts at #85 in the UK Singles Chart, becoming Taylor's 81st charting song here, and 5th song from the TTPD era to chart.
“Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?” is at #81 in the mids. Possible new peak.

Anthology on the website from 1pm GMT on Friday for us!

Can't wait to see how expensive this'll be :kink:
On target the cd is $17.99 and vinyl is $59.99, so roughly £14.50 and £48. But I know Tay won’t make it work out like that so I’m sxpecting roughly £20 for cd and £60 for vinyl?
I wouldn't be at all surprised if your predicted prices turn out to be true!
