As the trend goes with the majority of their songs.. Westlife exit first with 'Obvious' which peaked at 3 in February 2004. Released off their 4th album Turnaround. It was the last single to featured Brian McFadden as he had left the group by the time this got single treatment.

Switching over to my next True vote which is Jaimeson Ft Angel Blue ;) which is a really bland dance track.

Would also be fine with O-Town going too mind you!

True...

Liquid Dreams isn't far behind, although I sometimes get it stuck in my head. Agree the lyrics are naff though, I never knew which Jennifer they were referring to either. Lopez? Love Hewitt? Aniston?

Mind you the worst lyric in this whole round has to be “Can’t decide if I should stab you or kiss you”

True.

And long may 'I'm Not A Girl' stay aswell, I've always found that such a beautiful song but even more so after watching Crossroads recently.

O-Town, thought that would be another landslide.

True is an absolute garage CLASSIC :( one of the very best of its genre

O-Town to go next, 'True' is a low-key tune.

Mind you the worst lyric in this whole round has to be “Can’t decide if I should stab you or kiss you”
Only heard that version once and I did a double take. Surely someone in their record company should have recognised that wasn't a good line.
I think it was ‘slap’ rather than ‘stab’, which was changed to ‘leave you’ for the single mix. It does sound a lot like stab though and it’s not the greatest lyric ever in any sense.

Yeah it was 'slap' but Wikipedia does state that many mis read it as being 'stab'.

It really really sounds like “stab”. They’re different vowels.

Maybe they realised how poorly chosen the lyric was afterwards and pretended it had always been “slap”.

I reckon if it had really been “slap” it would have sounded like “slap” and they would never have needed to change it. :teresa:

OK enough conspiracy theorising. ;)

I'm going with 'Issues', much as I love the Sats I absolutely hate that song with an almighty passion (and have done ever since I first heard it on the album)
