March 25, 20242 yr After almost going to ACR last week, teddy’s sales appear to be increasing again this week
March 26, 20242 yr The chart remains last week's with no update. Standard in the streaming era sadly :(
March 26, 20242 yr Standard in the streaming era sadly :( I think she means on the OCC website? Teddy really needs to stop swimming and start sinking.
March 26, 20242 yr Still think it looks like there's a chance of Future/Metro snatching the #1 album but would probably put my money on Elbow hanging on now, coming for an odd looking run of 1-1-1-7-1 with their last 5 albums, although they really didn't even try to get that last album to #1 releasing it the same week as Adele's '30' lmao. Will also be 2 #2 albums in a row for Future without a #1 yet if so. Apparently there is a second Future/Metro album coming on 12th April, looking ahead on the release schedule it looks like that one might have a shot at #1 too if it can do similar numbers to this one (although that is a big if)? Guessing the biggest competition that week would be James (a quick followup to their last album which opened with 14k last year) with other albums possibly in the mix from Mark Knopfler, Maggie Rogers and girl in red if they can post big improvements on their last openings, plus a Linkin Park greatest hits and a Manic Street Preachers reissue which I do not know how to adequately predict. Whoddy let me know if I'm missing any contenders :magic: Nice to see Adrianne Lenker's album charting too, she's had a couple of top 40 albums as part of Big Thief before but this will be her first to go top 100 as a solo artist. Did not realise this Jax Jones song had picked up enough to be a top 40 contender and really could do without it x The Rudimental and The Blessed Madonna songs are better although still not big faves for me.

B-) I was expecting obsessed to be top 5 this week tbh. :o Edited March 26, 20242 yr by Jason

I don't believe you are! I didn't realise James sold 14k last time - I think it'll be close between them and Future/Metro. I feel like James are the sort of band to push hard if it comes close, so my money would be on them.
March 26, 20242 yr Three Hozier songs in the top 100! And a top 50 start for new Benson Boone, I wonder if he can get another hit with this?
March 26, 20242 yr Could there be no UK artists in the top 10 this week? Dua Lipa will always be in the top 10
March 26, 20242 yr Three Hozier songs in the top 100! And a top 50 start for new Benson Boone, I wonder if he can get another hit with this? I don’t find it as catchy as Beautiful Things.
March 26, 20242 yr Dua Lipa will always be in the top 10 Obsessed with your complete 180 in confidence about Dua Lipa.
March 26, 20242 yr 'Sex On Fire' possibly set for its 125th chart week, more than 11 years after its 124th which was before streaming counted?
March 26, 20242 yr I’m disappointed Kacey probably won’t be getting a second week and that Justin has overtaken her, even star-crossed managed a second week (barely, at #97). But I guess the albums chart is just even worse now
March 26, 20242 yr VERY low top 10 You were insistent she'd fall out of the top 10 in week 2, and yet she's about to spend her 6th week in it 🤷
March 27, 20242 yr Three Hozier songs in the top 100! And a top 50 start for new Benson Boone, I wonder if he can get another hit with this? Hope they all stay in, Hozier has had a bit more success this era than with his previous which is good to see. Good to see Kylie and Sia in the mids as i honestly thought it had no chance.
