Tori Amos - Hotel

Blur - Caramel

Radiohead - Like Spinning Plates

Kate Bush - Get Out of My House

Suede - The Asphalt World

This one comes to mind:

I know they've had several classics and psychedelia proved to not quite be their thing, but this one is so beautifully composed and unlike anything else by them, a hidden gem x

My top 3 Beatles songs are all album tracks!

01. Here Comes The Sun

02. Tomorrow Never Knows

03. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)

This was the first thing that came to mind. It's close between this and Made of Stone for my favourite of theirs but I think the album closer just edges it for me.

My Top 10 most-scrobbled non-singles are:

1. The 1975 - I Like America & America Likes Me

2. The 1975 - I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes)

3. Arctic Monkeys - One Point Perspective

4. The 1975 - Roadkill

5. The 1975 - Tonight (I Wish I Was Your Boy)

6. Fall Out Boy - Lake Effect Kid

7. The 1975 - Then Because She Goes

8. Busted - Shipwrecked in Atlantis

9. The 1975 - I Couldn't Be More in Love

10. The 1975 - I Think There's Something You Should Know

Just one from each artist:

1. The 1975 - I Like America & America Likes Me

2. Arctic Monkeys - One Point Perspective

3. Fall Out Boy - Lake Effect Kid

4. Busted - Shipwrecked in Atlantis

5. Bowling For Soup - All I Want For Christmas Is You

6. Imagine Dragons - Cool Out

7. Fontaines D.C. - Roy's Tune

8. The Struts - Who Am I?

9. Liam Gallagher - Glimmer

10. Dominic Fike - Sick

Loads but this came to mind from hearing it one of my parents' Cranberries albums when I was younger

Same approach as WhoOdyssey, my top 10 most played non-singles (and then top 10 without any repeat artists) - though a couple of these were / may qualify as promotional singles. I've disqualified anything that was a single in another territory even if it wasn't here (e.g. The Kid LAROI - NEED YOU MOST (So Sick) was sent to Australian radio as a single but not anywhere else)

01 812 Ulrik Munther - Heroes in Defeat (Change Your Mind)

02 518 Justin Bieber - Love Me

03 433 Greyson Chance - Running Away

04 357 Ulrik Munther - Thousand Years

05 329 Lucie Silvas - Roots (293 of these are from a version released as a free download years before the album version, but it was never an actual single)

06 309 Kate Nash - Paris

07 296 Greyson Chance - Light Up the Dark

08 285 Greyson Chance - Summertrain

09 277 The Kid LAROI feat. Mustard - STILL CHOSE YOU

10 275 Taylor Swift - Enchanted (204 from the original, 71 from Taylor's Version, neither were a single)

08 259 Dua Lipa & BLACKPINK - Kiss and Make Up

09 217 Cody Simpson - Don't Cry Your Heart Out

10 204 S Club - Let Me Sleep

Not many of these are what I'd consider my favourite by their respective artists, though - some are just from albums that really defined certain periods of my life...! Heroes in Defeat is easily my favourite Ulrik song though, and one of my favourites of all time. Running Away, Light Up the Dark and Summertrain are all contenders for Greyson (though his first album feels like a different artist to the music he makes nowadays so it's difficult to compare), Enchanted is my favourite Taylor song, and Let Me Sleep is in my S Club top 5 quite possibly - high praise when they have such iconic singles too. Kiss and Make Up is rivalled only by Levitating for my favourite Dua song these days, and Love Me is my favourite "early Bieber" song - but Anyone and As Long As You Love Me are superior overall (and STAY obv x). Paris is a Kate fave but nothing beats Foundations. I'm shocked at the Cody choice, it's not even my favourite non-single from his first EP - Round of Applause is just a few plays behind (but neither are as good as some of his singles anyway, and I'd say his best non-single is Be the One).

Not quite reflected in my lists above as they only cover late 2010 onwards is Avril Lavigne's Innocence, which is my favourite song by her. It's always struck a chord with me for some reason, such a beautiful song and I adore how her voice sounds on it.

@dandy, wasnt I am the Resurrection a single? I think I bought it? :D

some fav of mine

Damien Rice - I Remember

Phoebe Bridgers - Chinese satellite

Bon Iver - re:stacks

Tori Amos - Gold Dust

Cranberries - Dreaming my dreams

Pixies - Gouge away

Alanis Morrissette - Forgiven

Oasis - Don't go away

Blur - This is a low

Pulp - Underwear

David Gray - Nightblindness

This was the first thing that came to mind. It's close between this and Made of Stone for my favourite of theirs but I think the album closer just edges it for me.

Aren't we looking at songs that weren't singles?

I mean, I Wanna be Adored and I Am the Resurrection were not singles originally back in 89/90 when they broke through but much later in like 92 or something
Also I may have completely misunderstood the thread but aren’t we trying to find instances where your favourite song by an act isn’t a single of theirs… as opposed to just songs people like that weren’t singles.

That was my understanding.

If sticking to acts where my favourite song of theirs wasn't a single, here are a few:

Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)

The Beatles - And Your Bird Can Sing

Portishead - Roads

Stereophonics - Same Size Feet

Re- The Stone Roses, dandy* is sort of right. It was not a single during any promotional phase for the album but was released 3 years later as a cash in by Silvertone Records, with whom they'd broken all ties.

The UK releases of I Wanna Be Adored and Waterfall were also both not sanctioned by the band.
