With Benson Boone's 'Beautiful Things' hitting #1, it made me realise just how many number ones there have been with the word 'Beautiful' in the title. I haven't checked but it surely must be one of the most common adjectives used in the title of a number one single?

 

There's actually some fantastic songs in this list! So Buzzjack, what's your favourite 'beautiful' number one?

 

Shame Madonna's 'Beautiful Stranger' didn't quite make it (damn those pesky S Club), that probably would have been my favourite above all of these!

It has to be Beautiful, followed by Beautiful Liar, followed by You're Beautiful!

 

I did like the Labrinth/Emeli single at the time but got boring.

Oops probably should have voted for 1D as well as WMYB has to be one of the best boyband songs of the 21st Century at least!

Voted U2 and Blunty

Not a brilliant list. I’m actually wishing I’d voted for Fern Kinney as she doesn’t deserve to be on 0 - sweet song. As it is I only went for Xtina. Beautiful Day I’ve never 100% been on board with - I find the chorus lacks oomph.

All of those are great songs but each artist has way better ones besides Benson who has probably peaked with Beautiful Things (tho I’m happy to be proven wrong in time)

Christina and One Direction for me, two brilliant songs that are highlights of their respective discographies.

 

I enjoy James Blunt, Sean Kingston, Labrinth, Benson, but I'd rate Christina and 1D as both 10/10 songs so I'm limiting myself to those two.

Prince and Christina but I'm not a lover of any really

Christina Aguilera for me but I also really love the One Direction and James Blunt ones.

U2 > 1D > Benson not a big fan of the others

Xtina well and truly leading the pack here then, probably should have expected that! Poor forgotten Fern Kinney though, a true one hit wonder.

U2 is the best here, one of my favourites from them :wub: Also voted, Christina and One Direction (I've got good uni memories of it shh x). Bit of a drop off after that, one of Prince's weakest songs and yet it's his only number 1 -_-
