Morgan Wallen has got like 20 weeks at #1 in the US just because his album has 32 tracks. I'm sure Taylor would like to do the same.

Morgan Wallen has a song in his album which seems to be based on Lifestyle by Rich Gang which I find hilarious.

As for Taylor Swift, I have always wondered what would happen if a female pop star released tons of music constantly like Drake, etc. does and it seems to be working out really well for her, and I don't think the album being long will hurt her, probably the opposite.

It is not a good review, indeed, but we can also bring here Sputnik (which is also very highly respectable) one from yesterday that they are constantly giving her 48-64 all the time (included folklore and evermore) and now have her 9/10 and said it’s her best.

For me it’s her best, above folklore which I never thought could happen but it did, it’s all personal taste at the end of the day 🤷🏻‍♂️

I obviously don't get what everyone's hearing, and on first listen I found most of the album a bit forgettable, with a few obvious highlights ('Florida' is quite easily the standout track). I'm hoping it will grow with a second listen but I'm not too hopeful, and with 31 songs to get through, a second listen seems like a daunting task!

I think that's part of the problem , on first listen I thought it was meh to ok at best and some might say I'm Taylor obsessed,

however after a few more listens it's grown on me, I really like it and and finding new highlight each time

One thing to remember is that this is effectively the ‘Alexa’ chart and you have very little influence over what it plays. There is an alternative Amazon chart (for subscribers to Amazon Music Unlimited I think) - but I don’t have access to it at present.

The other thing is that we can’t be certain that the Amazon chart is an accurate reflection of what people are playing/what data they submit: for example, it removes all Christmas songs from its chart even when people are still playing them.

Hozier now down more than 100k on same day last week so it's looking like he might not reclaim the top spot from Taylor after all. Still so pleased he managed to get a couple of weeks at the top! It would also be nice for Fortnight to spend two weeks at #1 because, well :lol:
