I've always hatrd him. Totally inauthentic, can't rap, has no flow, and has people camp out in studios to write "his" songs. Who wrote this respknse track anyway? Sure wasn't Draje, so it's pointless and meaningless.

True, I use to love him for years but something happened with him, for me at least and it's not a good thing.

Anyway, It's straight to number 2 NMF and number 1 on RapCaviar. He's gonna get all the support anyway, a lot of buzz around it.

I really wouldn’t expect it to do great in the UK maybe a few days in the US. Been a very corny rap beef and nobody believes Drake is that kind of person he just has a lot of money

Agree, don't think it would do much in the UK, but in the US it's a different story, I don't know about 1 but he'll block at least one of her top 10 (her record last time, and she blocked him on his last time BTW)

BTW, and I know Amazon is fairly big in the UK compared to other placed, this is from now:

‘The Tortured Poets Department’ by Taylor Swift has broken the record for most-streamed album in a single day in Amazon Music history.

(1989 TV took 17 hours to beat Midnights streaming day on Amazon and TTPD took 13 hours to beat 1989 TV)

I really wish everyone had left Drake at 2015, then he could have gone out on a creative high with 'Passionfruit'. He's been largely diabolical/pointless since then.

Nice for What was good tbf

Fontaines D.C. have now also entered the Apple chart at #200 :cheeseblock:

Would be almost top ten without Taylor :cheeseblock:

A few songs hitting new peaks on Amazon, although Taylor pushing them all back down now:

10. Artemas - "i like the way you kiss me" (8 w/o Taylor)

12. The Blessed Madonna - "Happier (feat. Clementine Douglas)" (10 w/o Taylor)

21. Sabrina Carpenter - "Espresso" (17 w/o Taylor)

38/107. Dua Lipa - "Illusion"(29/87 w/o Taylor)

52. Perri Edwards - "Forget About Us" (39 w/o taylor)

Will do a Taylor update tomorrow or Sunday when her album climbs more. Currently two songs top 10:

7. Taylor Swift - "Fornight (feat. Post Malone)" (+22)

8. Taylor Swift - "The Tortured Poet's Department" (+31)

If the SECOND version of Fortnight is very close (11 vs 8) to pass the only version of Too Sweet, and it’s only 15 hours since release, in a 24 hours chart, that means that it is streamed around double the amount-ish?

I would say so, yes. However she seems to not be getting anywhere on UK iTunes which is peculiar

I would bet my life savings that Taylor has a plethora of tricks up her sleeve to guarantee a #1 single this week. Guarantee it

Because everyone got the album, and all the songs that are buying are the songs you can’t find in the original album, that makes sense.

Drake dropping his track the week of Taylor’s album release because he didn’t want her to have the entire top 10 on the Hot 100 again.

169. Fontaines D.C. - Starburster

No sign of Headie One/Stormzy yet, even though they're higher on Today's Hits.

If you told me in 2020 that Fontaines D.C. would have a stronger first day than a collab between Headie One and Stormzy just four years later, I certainly would not have believed you!

In the US maybe, but would she or her team really care that much about a UK #1 in comparison?

^ she brought out physical singles in the US but not the UK.

She's besties with Cheesy Fad, ans rhey both develoepd an obsession for worldwide charts together, so probably

I think this Drake track would have been huge (for a week) if it dropped on streaming straight away but as it is this is essentially its second week (I guess there may be some people who weren't aware of the leak but it was very much viral in all the circles where you'd expect people to care about this) and diss tracks don't exactly tend to have much longevity. I don't see it being a threat to Taylor getting the whole of the top 10 in the US again, although Hozier might block that anyway, I believe he has better numbers right now than the song that was #11 on the week 'Midnights' came out.

Fontaines D.C. looking to get a first charting single feels very out of nowhere but not complaining! *.*

It's really annoying that Apple Music seems to be incapable of just combining song versions from day 1. I'd guess it's fairly likely the 16 standard edition Taylor tracks would take up the whole top 16 there if they were combined but we'll probably never know (unless they're still doing so well in a few days when they get combined).

Since the last Taylor update most of the higher versions have fallen but the second versions have climbed, quite a few tracks there where the two versions are now about equal to each other. Interesting that the order of the songs is a bit different for the second versions as well. Also looks like 'thanK you aIMee' may be trending to be the most popular of the deluxe tracks, I wonder if that may be because of the very unsubtle 'hidden message' in the title :P

Drake debuting now from ~10 hours of streams, not a bad start especially with 47 Taylor debuts ahead x
