The Post Malone & Morgan Wallen song is going to be massive. Will be Morgan's first big global hit. I expect it'll be in the Amazon top 10 quite quickly.

Happy to see Post Malone having a mini-comeback. I hope he'll do just as well for his solo material for the next album!

This is the lead single for his next (country) album, so it puts him in good stead! He's also got a collab coming with Luke Combs, which will probably also be big if it's a single. It's certainly catchy:

Olly Alexander - "Dizzy"

Amazon: #86

Apple Music: #93

Spotify: N/A

His semi-final performance has over 1 million views in 3 days which may give him a nice youtube boost. Hopefully he'll give a similarly great performance on the night! Although with competition being so high in the singles chart currently (Entire top 12 of the chart did 30k+ this week *_*) we may not see as big of an effect this year as last?

For comparison, Loreen did ~39k at #2 last year, Käärijä ~28k at #6, Mae Muller ~24.7k at #9 and Alessandra ~23.7k at #10. This week the #7 did ~40.6k and #8 ~37k with the #12 doing ~30k and #17 doing ~23.8k

Although the growth in spotify may translate to the Eurovision streams as well to supercharge them this year compared to last perhaps? *_*

I don't really see many Eurovision songs doing that well. The host country hype always rubs off on domestic charts and the UK was no different last year. And based on current high sales, only Loreen would have made the top ten this year, and then not particularly high. I'd expect viewing figures to be down, and none of the songs sound like they will be really big hits (I did think Europapa could possibly be, but now even its participation in the final is up in the air). Croatian song should get top 20 I guess, and hopefully Dizzy, not sure about top ten though, Mae's felt like a more popular and played song to me.

Porgan Wallone up to #3 on Apple now.

edit: oop I missed Whoddy's last update post x

Looks like the 101-200 section hadn't yet updated at the time of that post though as there are a few more newies charting there now (but the positions are the same for the newies in the top 100).

102 Gunna - collage

111 Gunna - whatsapp (wassam)

143 Gunna - neck on a yacht

167 Gunna - hakuna matata

183 Mabel - Look At My Body (feat. Shygirl)

198 Clavish and D-Block Europe - Most Definitely

it leaked in march and then they started teasing in april, so its had quite a bit of hype surrounding it, a la greedy by tate last year

Thanks, thought it must be something as his previous eras releases didn’t have as much appeal or streams!

Post & Morgan are now up to #2 on Apple, hopefully they'll be at #1 sometime tomorrow!

Also now appearing at #47 on Amazon which is really good for a new release. Most new songs don't really start charting properly there until Sunday.

Post Malone at #1 with 1.1 million streams nahhhh wtf

Edited by Lee_J11

2 songs over a million, 6 over 700k! Never see numbers like this outside of album bombs and Christmas

New entries:

1. Post Malone (feat. Morgan Wallen) - I Had Some Help

15. Myles Smith - Stargazing

56. Charli XCX - 360

106. Gunna - one of wun

113. beabadoobee - Take A Bite

149. Macklemore - HIND'S HALL

171. Gunna - collage

183. Gunna - whatsapp (wassam)

Also a big climb for Zerb & The Chainsmokers up 98 places... to #98!

Streaming numbers have gone through the roof recently at the top. I know the overall market has continued to grow for years but I'm surprised to see the most popular songs pulling ahead of the market in a way they haven't been for a few years.

It's great to see, although is really benefitting international acts at the moment, I wonder when any UK artists (Artemas and the odd Dua single aside) are going to make more of an impression again.

Eurovision might well be locked out of the top ten this year. I'd be very surprised if any entry gets over 500k streams in its peak day and that won't sustain probably or be enough for the top ten.

Funny how the market has changed so much compared to a year ago, with all this country and folk music around now.

Who’s afraid of little old me is getting closer and closer to Taylor’s top 3 songs (just 7k behind Down Bad today), hope it can chart in the next couple weeks! ICDIWABH & Down Bad climbing too, and big climbs for But Daddy I Love Him (up 14) and The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived (up 24 to 37), & so high school (up 56) <3
When people said Post Malone would be the next Taylor-associated act to go to #1 I thought it was a joke :o
I wonder if Posty can do enough to knock Sabrina off #1 on Friday. If he does, he’ll be the first artist to have multiple #1s in 2024

Good for Posty, he really managed to turn his career around after the flop album.

Or was there two of them, cannot recall, he had fallen completely out of my radar.

'Help' did 13.95 million worldwide and 7.88 million in the US - so that's 56%
