Posters chart update at No 75 but someone's 30 pointer won't be making it as they exit tomorrow!
The Verve officially snubbed for a second time.

They haven't appeared at all? Controversial if so!

The Wanted had some great songs, 'All Time Low' and 'Glad You Came' will forever be bangers.

Loved the debut Gorillaz era, they lost me a bit in the middle but the latest album is pretty good.

The Scissor Sisters are a brilliant band, their debut album is a 9/10 for me, packed with some absolute tunes, including the still incredible 'Filthy/Gorgeous'. They then went progressively downhill with subsequent albums but each still contained a handful of pretty great songs. Shame I didn't have room for them in my votes!

Gezza said Creedence Clearwater Revival is the highest new entry. :teresa:

Aww big drop for The Wanted. :( They have so many great songs and I saw them once in a concert and it was very good.

Gorillaz  they have a lot of past glories for me ('Feel Good Inc.' being my favourite) but in more recent times 'New Gold' was a personal chart #1, so still putting out some great stuff.

Scissor Sisters were a big new entry for me this time as I only got around to listening to their whole discography last year - their eponymous album and Night Work are fabulous <3

The lack of The Verve is pretty surprising but in mitigation does everyone just see them as a one-album band? I don't know how many other albums if any they've got beyond Urban Hymns

Creedance I’ve never really listened to but want to

Westlife overrated 😂

The Vamps are ok

Love the Wanted hence my vote, my fave boy and

Scissor Sisters, completely forgot about them! Love their music !

Eponymous, now that's a fancy word!

So glad to see more love for Night Work, it truly deserved to be up their with their first two success wise, I find it much much better than the second album.

This is such a correct take, both those Scissor Sisters albums are great *.*

*.* in an alternate universe 'Invisible Light' was a massive #1

Their album before, A Northern Soul, had some acclaim and contains one of their best songs in 'History', but it's probably fair that they're only really known for one album, and splitting so soon afterwards didn't help. It's still a little surprising they've had no points in both group rates when their songs did so well in the 90s #1 and 90s #2 rates in between, albeit a couple of hit singles perhaps aren't representative and those rates had different voter bases.

The Verve are okay but they don’t have enough strong material to make a top list for me. History and Love is Noise aside, they are most definitely a one album band
I can't believe how many people have forgotten to vote for their faves or said "I wish I'd remembered them" or "I can't believe I didn't give any points to them"... I wonder what would happen if we ran this vote again with all the forgotten votes
