Mirror Man is fantastic! Also Fascination is good and I really like Being Boiled. Together in electric dreams which is a Phil Oakley single (the male singer) is really good too. Human League just missed out for me

Never knew that link to Together In Electric Dreams! Great song.

No big losses for me recently - plenty good groups but none that were particularly close to my points.

I've heard the Travelogue and Dare! albums by the Human League and enjoyed both a lot  a-ha and Duran Duran have some great material too.

Delighted to see The Clash top 100 - I was their only voter last time, and had all but given up on them appearing here at all! Just The Beach Boys left in that predicament now.

My favourites of London Grammar are 'Rooting For You', 'Wasting My Young Years' and 'Big Picture', and their new material has been solid.

It's all about 'Love Action'

That's good but it's no 'One Man In My Heart' it's also no 'Louise'

The Clash were always gonna be high on my list. It's not for nothing that they were nicknamed 'The Only Band That Matters' . They were the most intelligent and accomplished of all the first wave of UK Punk bands, London Calling is one of the greatest albums of the 70s and White Man (In Hammersmith Palais) is arguably the UK's best ever Punk single, even if God Save the Queen is the most iconic. A perfect band if Sandinista! was trimmed to a single LP and as long as we forget the last album.

I have to admit I quite enjoyed seeing you querying their presence in a few posts earlier in the thread.

I will always adore I've Been losing You though. That's a high quality Pop song.

That’s my favourite too!! Finally someone else who likes it!

I did think it likely you'd voted for them, it was more how many points it would need to be this high and where they'd come from that made me unsure. In a way, it's been fun not voting for some of my favourite bands this time, as it's added to the intrigue of whether they have enough support from others to appear at all.

They were an essential band indeed - 'Complete Control' is my favourite track of theirs, but with much competition.

Sigur Ros 😍 truly unique and magnificent live.

Some classic albums from years back but their new one ATTA is good too. The track Klettur (which is in my record of the decade noms for 2023) is one of the most atmospheric pieces of music I've ever heard.

Pleased they've held up well, but I didn't take part in this last time, so if whoever voted for them last time had voted the same way again, they could have been a lot higher with my extra 28 points!

Like what I know from Royksopp too.

Not a huge fan of any of the recently revealed tbh… waiting for some I know more of 😂
Happy to have helped Röyksopp into the top 100 this time. My two favourites from them are from the Profound Mysteries III album in their 2022 trilogy: 'Stay Awhile' (feat. Susanne Sundfør) and 'Me&Youphoria', then would be one of their earlier Robyn collabs, either 'The Girl And The Robot' or 'Monument'.

Running to the Sea is the most beautiful Röyksopp track, I will never tire of it… but so many great tunes in their catalogue

Sigur Rós as well

I'm not really familiar with Röyksopp outside of their popular era circa 2002, but Melody AM was a great album.

Sigur Ros aren't really my cup of tea.

But boo at Bastille falling from last time, they've made consistently great music for me since bursting on to the scene with Bad Blood - can't believe that was over 10 years ago now!!
