My father has lots of the Scorpions songs in his USB, I think he bought one of their Greatest Hits album, so I grew up hearing lots of their tracks when I was still very young, but nothing comes closer to the quality of Wind of Change. Iconic intro, memorable chorus, great track overall.

So, that's my +5 thanks to my dad's good classic taste.

That's one of the weird things about Nick Cave, in that he's perceived as a solo artist but has released only a handful of solo tracks. Most are with Birthday Party, the Bad Seeds, Grinderman or Warren Ellis.

Glad to see them getting some love on here though

It had actually escaped me that The Bad Seeds had a Top 40 hit they were credited on, so I didn't realise they'd be eligible for this rate. (Although by my own self-imposed criteria I wouldn't have voted for them as I haven't charted their new songs, but that may change with the new album.)

However, it may have been the only Kylie single that I didn’t buy until ‘Wow’.

Sorry for going off-topic but very strange for 'Wow' to be the song that makes you stop buying Kylie singles!

I can’t find ‘Wow’ in my collection - so I assume I didn’t buy it. But I think this was around the time when CD singles were dying - and I moved over from buying CD singles to downloading tracks.

But now I buy all of the Kylie singles as they are released, and on multiple formats.

You must have quite a gap after 'Wow' that you need filling then!

Has she released many CD singles since then?

Love what I know of Bauhaus, discovered them through 'Bela Lugosi's Dead' and have added a handful of others to my playlists since, do need to explore them even further though.

Nero and Sash! both have some good tunes - 'Guilt' is my favourite by the former and 'Mysterious Times' is my #1 from the latter.

Voted for NERO as I charted their new song 'Draw Energy', although their opening trilogy of hits 'Me And You', 'Guilt' and 'Promises' are hard to beat. I did consider Milky Chance as 'Living In A Haze' is one of my favourite songs of last year, but that may be a bit of a one-off for me.

Not happy with some of the huge falls some groups have had since last time, Sister Sledge the latest, albeit I realise I haven't exactly helped in how I've voted :kink:

Sister Sledge a legendary group out early too :o they have some classics which are usual ones you hear.

Sash! have so many anthems. Like several from NERO, Catatonia and Mike and The Mechanics too. Surprised there's enough CNCO to have heard of to nominate here. Seems an odd one haha.

Don’t want to sound draconian but maybe continue the Kylie chat over PM? ;)

I love it when you get strict!

Village People were so ahead of their time!

I read somewhere that they were all straight 😆

Exciting though: my 6-pointer got zero votes last time - but I’m clearly not the only one voting for them this time!

SASH! are great. I always thought of them as a solo artist. I think I had their debut album - but after that they faded away in my mind. I’m a Tina Cousins fan, so ‘Mysterious Times’ is my favourite SASH! song.

I mean, they have 4 albums! :kink:

I hope not but in a way that’s even more incredible. I’m surprised there has never been a major all gay boyband.
